First time grower not sure what's wrong with my autoflowers

Not sure what’s wrong with my auto flowers there just going in to the third week and started to have a problem with some of the leaves. Not happening to all of the plants just a few. Had a problem with my PH meter. Thought it might be light burn so moved the light further away and now a couple look like they might be stretching. Any advice would be much appreciated

Also I had a small problem with fungus gnats in the first week but I’ve managed to get rid of them now.

Welcome @Mike1985

If you can complete the survey at the end of this message it will help determine how and why you are having these issues.
From your post I would cover the top of my pots with 1” of and inorganic substrate like washed play sand. It need to be clean of any organic material. Why? Those fungus gnats need the organics of your soil to propagate. No organic not gnats.
Also I use a beneficial microbe that will colonize your root system and crowd out the bad microbes :microbe: or fungus. I use Hydroguard from Botanicare.

Answer these simple questions the best you can. If you are not sure, just bring it to our attention. We will figure it out.

  1. Indoor or outdoor? - size of grow?
  2. Otigin of seeds?
  3. Regular, feminized, or autoflower?
  4. Origin of water. PH, EC/TDS of source water?
  5. PH and TDS/EC of if mixed solution?
  6. Grow method? Soil, Soil-less, Coco, Hydro, Aquaponics. Please explain.
  7. Nutrients or fertilizer system used.
  8. What typr of lighting are you using? LED, HID (MH, CMH, HPS), or Fluorescents? Please elaborate.
  9. What are the temps in your growspce? Day / Night?
  10. What is the RH = relative humidity in your growspace? Day / Night?
  11. AC, Humidifier, De-humidifier?
  12. Do you have a Ventilation system? Size? 4", 6"?
  13. Co2 Yes / No?
  14. How long have you been growing?
  15. What budget have you set in order to grow successfully?

Welcome to the community :blush::v:

Thank You

Welcome to the community Growmie and they look good. I don’t see anything to worry about :love_you_gesture:

Looks good @Mike1985
I haven’t used that product so I took a look. That product looks like a great choice. Keep us up to date on how your doing.

I did see they have products for most all type of growing substrates. I just wanted to confirm you are using the coco coir feeding regimen. Coco lack vital elements that a soil based regimen provides. Things like calcium, magnesium, iron and silica.

Also found this calculator if you want a customized feeding schedule.

Best luck and keep me posted !!

Thank you

I’m using this chart for advanced nutrients from the fast buds website which they say is for auto flowers. Will post an update in a week or so, seemed to like the feeding yesterday.

:+1:t2:. Make sure that include some calcium and magnesium, I’m not familiar with that line. But not only are you growing Autoflower but coco coir is classified as hydroponic. It is considered an inert medium with only trace amounts of potassium and sodium. Daily wetting is generally required. With proper drainage it captures O2 in its fibers as well as H2O.
CalMag is popular for hydroponic gardens.

Thanks, I have order cal mag and hydro guard should be here by Monday in time for their next watering.

Maybe it’s just me but if those are 3 weeks old they seem to be very far behind especially for autoflowers which may flower soon. This is one of my autoflowers at not quite 3 weeks old and my last ones were about the same at this point ( not too mention mine flowered at 4 weeks).

They are not 3 weeks old they were on their first day of week 3 in the photos, been looking at the same strains and don’t seem that far behind what I’ve seen.

I just finished a grow with Sensi Grow and Sensi Bloom. I can tell you that (for me) I loved it! Never ran into any problems! Keep in mind that I only started with half strength and slowly worked my way up to full strength. Also I noticed that I did have to start using Cal-Mag about half way threw my grow. Other than that it worked just like it says it does! PH perfect! That was the best part, not worrying about what the PH was.

Welcome aboard.

Welcome to the community

I have two Gold Leaf feminized at week 3 and mine look like yours. I have one that has fat deep green leaves but the other is noticeably smaller with slightly yellowing leaves and they are beginning to curl under. I raised my SF1000 up from about 12 " to about 16". I had them going 24 hours but considering the look of the one plant I will cut that back to 18 hours and see what happens.

@GrowingIs4Everyone Is that plant 3 weeks from seed? Mine are three weeks from seed and have not developed anywhere near the plant in the photo.
