Is it worth growing for the experience or should I move on until I come across a female all opinions welcome.
I would personally start another and not bother with this one.
Agree with @Oldguy nothing to gain except pollen with that one. Unless you are breeding, pop some new seeds

If u have other plants around then yes. Bag it carefully and compost or BURN

How to kill male plant. Cover in trash bag…wrap it sealed with duct tape.
Close off every possible way for pollen to get to the females. Take out to the car in the middle of the night. Put in trunk, drive into the desert, dig a 6’ deep hole place bagged male in hole. Set it on fire. After fire dies out cover with dirt. cover with stones until there is no chance of male pollen escaping.
