It had too rot. I was told to clean roots with peroxide mixture and I did that. Should I still leave it be?it’s been 8 days

Root rot. Typo sorry

Let the medium go completely dry Growmie. If your Grow space RH isn’t 65-75% I would recommend misting the inside of of a clear solo cup or cut a water bottle in half and cover the seedling. The seedling will absorb the moisture from the air, water about 2 shot glasses around the outside of the dome every 3 days. Remove the dome periodically to re-mist and leave it off to give the plant some fresh air then put the dome back off. Once the leaves are touching the inside of the dome you can remove it permanently :love_you_gesture:

Is this nutrient burn?

Did you mist the plant with lights on? No harm the burnt edges will crumble and fall off. Those discolored bigger leaves are a sign of over watering :love_you_gesture:

Is that what is happening to mine?

New leaves will be a lighter green during chlorophyll production. Those tiny cotyledons look nice and healthy Grow Bro :love_you_gesture:

Thanks growmie! I was just curious because these plants are the same age technically. Never experienced that coloring with this one even though it shows slight signs. Sorry first time grow so probably over worrying.

This is where i am failing, I bought a vivosun ph meter and the calibration instructions mixed with the temperament of the device made me uncertain whats going on with ph. Currently its a mix of my compost, my worm castings, some kellogs organic raised bed and potting mix, pumice/perlite (was short on pumice). There are mites and red wrgillers living in the pot. Ive done two worm tea w molasses brewings in a matter of a month and top dressed with craft blend about a week and a half prior to putting my plants in. They started inside a solo cup with coco and perlite with a little bit of my vermicompost (maybe a third) mixed in. I dont think the Roots are touching any of the actual soil at the moment due to the way i transplanted the soil from the cups its basically still “in” the cup but not.

I was told ph monitoring wasnt important with living soil so I gave up on worrying about that. Do you have a ph meter in mind that isnt over $50?

Also using API water conditioner to remove chloramines from my tap water, I figured if its safe for aquarium plants it would be fine for cannabis. Is there a logic to that? idk lol

It’s too big for water bottle. That plant is 9 weeks planted today. Can I use a bigger clear container

Yes I have misted it with light kn

With the right soil amendments the PH would adjust itself but wouldn’t go in with anything above 7.2 or lower than 6.2. Seedlings require very little water for the first 3 weeks above ground but need high humidity :love_you_gesture:

That’s what burned your leaves Growmie, I would recommend never doing a foliar spray but if needed for something like pest treating the light needs to be off or the sun down :love_you_gesture:

She’s old enough to not use a dome, growing in soil you should follow a drench to drought routine. let the soil dry before watering again, the drought period provides the roots the needed oxygen, this plant is small for 8 weeks and mainly looks overwatered :love_you_gesture:

So my plant is ok? Just let the soil dry out? When do you think she will bounce back and start growing again[quote=“OGIncognito, post:18, topic:113077, full:true”]

They are using ocean forest soil it’s too hot for seedlings. I was talking to them on another thread. Just thought you should know. :v::love_you_gesture:
