First attempt at seedlings

Hi guys.
This is my first attempt at growing frim seeds and i must admit im a but confused to say the least.
I managed to pop 2 x blue cheese, 1 x moby Dick and 1 x Bruce Banner #5.

They have been in a propgator in my tent but recently noticed 2 of the seedlings going yellow!!!

Is this due to over watering and should i now remove the propogator dome.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as im hoping i wont lose them.

Need some pics but sounds over watered, very easy with seedlings :green_heart::metal:t2:

Possibly. Seedlings should only get a few ml of water per day. Much beyond that creates the risk of root rot.

If you have a humidity dome over them, then the soil should be completely dry until after the dome is removed.

Thanks Stone Cold, thats what i was afraid of … will they pull through if i lay off the watering for a while?

To be honest the soil looks dry for once. To these eyes. Lots of debris which will break down later. Can go ahead and dome them watering the dome itself. A safe non invasive way to bring rh up high. They will take it in from foliage for a spell as they build roots. Just my thoughts. Dont over adjust anywhere. They are up and growing.

Thanks Storm.

I’ll put the dome back on in the morning as its 11.10pm here , vent open just a bit to allow air flow

Thats pretty solid growth. A little yellowing isnt uncommon right now. 3rd sets of leaves shooting right out. I dont think you are in trouble. Just stay on the course.

What kind of soil are you using?

You will be fine. This stage is hardest for moss of us in the beginning. We tend to unalive them with kindness. Happy Growing :v:

Are the two yellowish ones your two Blue Cheese plants? If so, genetic differences may explain what you’re seeing.

What size are those containers?

That soil could be your problem… it says it’s times released for up to 6 months of feeding. So it probably very hot for those seedlings… I would stick to fox farm, roots organic, or even coast of Maine soil. No need for a seedling blend. Also that soil has sand and a “wetting agent” to hold moisture, so even though it appears dry it may not be down inside
