Thanks to all who weighed in on my previous post a week ago. At the time, I was advised to wait another 2 or three weeks, and we just started our 9th two days ago. From what I’ve read on this website and others, an 8-9 week flower is standard for True OG.
I’ve taken some more pics hoping to get a clearer idea of when to chop. Here’s the big picture:
Here’s another one, closer:
And here are a couple as close as I could get, shooting with my loupe lens over my iPhone lens:
Questions:
-
How do they look to you? I’m seeing a lot more amber on the buds, but not near 20%. A lot of leaves are turning yellow, including some sugar leaves. I believe we should ready soon. But we also want to flush. What is the timing on that? Do we start flushing now with the expectation that the plant will be ready to chop in a week? She has only taken nutes once of the last four times we’ve watered her when we thought we were close before.

Is it still conventional wisdom to do 48 hours of light deprivation before chopping? And how do we manage that timing? If she’s ready to chop in let’s say four days, does she need any additional feeding before going dark? Just pH’d water?

Looking ahead to our 2nd grow, we have some autoflower seeds that we’ll run side by side in our custom 2x3 tent. When is the best time to germinate them, knowing that our tent will be occupied with drying for at least a week? Did I mention we’re new to all this?
Thanks to all who helped make our first time grow a (we hope) resounding success!
