Ok my plant 3 to 4 weeks of flower, just not sure due to my mess up with timer. But anyway i started to notice some of the leaves on the top of the plant started to turn purple on the edges. Is this due to genetics or missing nutrients?
Did you have a cold spell in tent? that can cause purple color. Genetics is also a reason.
@Legomaniac that looks gorgeous. What strain is that? I wanna grow it sometimes it’s genetics, sometimes it’s temps or pH like @beachglass said about the cold spell. It looks like it definitely got cold in there, I don’t think the leaves would be showing changes in color so early into flower
Post edit: actually now that I’m looking at it, it’s probably genetics. Definitely curious to know the strain
If you were later in flower I’d say it was normal. This early, I think you will want to give her a feeding or you might hurt your yield.
I gather from your other thread, you are going for an organic grow? We’ll need some more details about your feeding and watering plan.
@JiggaMan1987 Thank you its my first and trying my best. Wish i knew what it was. Bought seeds at a Bazzaar and when i got home i noticed the package was opened. It was suppose to have 4 seeds but only had 3 in it. So your guess is as good as mine lol.
@CurrDogg420 I’m using a mix of Happy Frog and Super Soil. From some previous threads i put up someone said that it should get me through the grow.
It never got below 68 degrees in my tent. The humidity definitely fluctuated a lot but had it pretty steady at 40 which i know it should be around 70. A couple of people told me not to worry so much about the humidity and being new to this i took there advise. They said get through your first then worry about tweaking what you do.
@Legomaniac oh ok. Well it looks great so far. I’m loving it he green with that red/purple coming thru on the edges of the leaves. Ur doing good so far, doesn’t look like there’s any deficiencies or pests. There’s definitely some frost where the bud is forming. Fill out that ticket tho so we can help u out
Also, people are right. Don’t worry too much about every single little aspect of growing yet. Just try to focus on main points and then u can tweak ur techniques. Main thing to focus on for now is making sure u keep ur area clean for one, make sure u pH everything, don’t overdo it with nutrients, less is more. Better to start light and have to add more than to start with too much and try to make it work. I wouldn’t stress about humidity too much, especially while it’s in veg.
