Welcome to the best cannabis cultivation forum on the web!
Welcome. Make sure to break up that peat pod a little when plant. They can turn to stone and kill a seedling.
Welcome aboard, lots of helpful folks here! Tell us a bit about your setup and media if you don’t mind.![]()
Welcome to the Clubhouse and congrats on the pop ![]()

Thank you I will definitely do that
At the moment I’m only using jiffy soil (I do plan on switching to fox farms) and household leds with a lil humidifier, space heater and fan I’m still working on getting all the proper needs if you have any budget friendly suggestions like lights, fans, humidifier, ect lmk I’m open to any suggestions!
Don’t mind the other plants I’m also starting garden seedlings that will be moved very shortly
First things I’d recommend getting are PH and EC pens and calibration fluids. You’ll find the most important things in growing are watering properly and PH. EC will allow you to check the strength, or PPMs of your water and feeds, plus runoff. Next would be a good light, shoot for 40-50 watts per square foot of grow space. This will give you enough power to properly flower plants. Be ware of FF soil, several here have had severe PH swings with it. ![]()

Edit, don’t buy the cheap $10 pens and hope for good results, buy the best you can.
What’s your total budget?
(Approximately, if you don’t mind me asking)
Welcome to the forum! You have some great members here tagging along but feel free to reach out if you need anything.
Do you mind if I ask what strain(s) you’re growing?
Approximately $250-$350 giving that I’m able to get most stuff I already have household
I’m not sure the strain just some bag seed for my first grow
No worries! There’s lots of ways to stretch a budget too, will just come down to what you feel is most important. You’ll want a fan to exchange co² depleted warm air inside of your grow with fresh cooler air from outside of your grow constantly. They can be found pretty inexpensively, but if you want something quiet with good speed control price will increase. Do you need a carbon filter to help with scent? Some people don’t but your plants will definitely stink once you get a few weeks into flowering. A circulation fan inside of grow is a good idea too. Doesn’t need to be anything special, just wiggle the plant leaves a couple times per minute. I also agree that tds/ec and ph tester would be a good idea.
For your light you said household leds. Are you planning to diy with something like a21 bulbs?
@Ghostboy welcome to the community!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Welcome to ILGM. Off to a great start.
When you transplant them, just bury the stem more and they should be good. Looks like they need more light or move it closer to keep them from stretching .![]()
