Trim the fans or not? It’s dilemma for me.

Trim as necessary to maintain good airflow within the plant’s canopy. The plant otherwise needs the leaves to manufacture the sugars it needs to grow and be healthy.
Yeah, I try to tuck before I start nipping but sometimes the really large fans not getting sun should be removed and anything impeding airflow.
Agree with above recommendations, what helped me stop snipping leaves was perspective change, view the fan leaves as solar panels, that’s where she gets her energy from. I only snip them if they’re bunching badly and sitting on top of each other. Good wide LST helps greatly with air circulation.
