First indoor grow questions about supplemental lighting

Ok I’m going to try my hand with a indoor grow I’m going to be using a 2 x 4 tent. My question is about supplemental lighting in either the blue or red and does it make a difference. Probably from spider farmer, just looking to grow like three I’ve got the top lights just was reading about supplemental lighting in shades of either blue or red.

Same tent, never used supplemental lighting, with the light that comes with it you may struggle with 3 plants, I sold off the light that came with it and ordered a SF G4500 light is tight in tent but 3 plant will grow good, space is also kinda tight, 2 grow great in it, I grow photos but have seen some BIG autos grown. Spider Farm is good equipment from my experince so far. Luck to you!!!

My main lights are SF 600 two of them just reading about supplemental during flowering. Auto’s. Kind of a budget grow :potted_plant:.

SF600 looks like it’s about 75 watts. 150 is juuuust enough to flower out a single plant. :metal:

Blue is supposed to help with veg, red is supposed to help with flower.

Thanks I appreciate the input. Just gotta figure out what avenue I’ll take  I’m definitely going with the red supplement for flower I think I need to invest in better main lights.

It would improve your results far more than “supplementing”. General rule of thumb is about 30-50 watts per square foot of quality lighting. It’s not cheap.

I found HLG early on and stick with them for quality and customer service.

Your full spectrum lighting should take care of all the plants needs :love_you_gesture:
