First indoor grow - ILGM Big Bud

Appreciate that, thanks

My pleasure happy growings my friend

Day 11

Having moved the light up a bit, im am now having high of 82 and lows of 79 but Ive not had a dark cycle yet so will see how that affects the temps.Still spraying with room temp water on the leaves at least twice a day and the transplant doesn’t seem to have stressed the plant too much in fact it is already growing again.

If you are using that probe for your pH, make sure you are polishing both tines with an emory cloth. Those probes are famous for false readings.

Its more of a backup as i have a ph kit and for the watering as it says the soil is dry or whatever which as its a small plant in a big pot it will hopefully stop me overwatering. But a good tip on the probes, thanks.

Days 13 and 14

Temps are high 70 and low 80. Humidity is 40% and its really starting to come along. Still spray twice a day but it looks like the third node is there (if you exclude the first leaves) so will be putting some light nutes through at the weekend. Some weak tomato plant food probably which is 6 3 3 and perhaps a little baby bio for the extra N. Considering its only 14 days from seed, I’m quite happy

Day 15

So it looks like the third node, not including the baby at the bottom, is out so is now a good time to fim,top or whatever or is it too soon?

Plant looks fine from the top

I want to be trying lst and saw some vids on youtube about when and it seems to say that once you have 3 proper nodes, you can fim/top etc for those extra bud sites. Now while I appreciate that this forum is basically the same, ie. advice from people you dont know :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: I think I know whose advice I would actually trust :grinning:

So, you can see the plant. Too soon? It does seem tiny to some of the plants ive seen when its been done. The main stalk is also quite small still… as you can see.

Usually you wait till they have 4 or 5 sets of nodes. From what I’ve read on here and else where. So I would say their still a lil bit too small right now.

You can top her if you want, it’s just most people choose to wait until 4-5 nodes. But it’s your girl dude, do as you please! I always like to experiment.

If you decide to top her this early without giving any B-1 vitamins are super thrive first can stunt her a little , but you want to cut the very bottom node and than film or top , but if it’s an auto flower than yes this is the perfect time to film or top it , but again in order to transfer the energy you must snip off the bottom leaves are stems in order to excelerate the top growth and B-1 green are B-1 red or super thrive will help prevent stress . Either now are in the next two weeks top it .

Looks good I wouldn’t spray water on the leaves though no real need and it’s just inviting other issues you’ll love big bud, I’m smoking some right now

Edit: since you asked if this was a good time to top, no it’s not …you should listen to these two guys up top, your plant will do much better with less setback too !

Ok. Thanks for the advice, ill take it. Am I too early to start some sort of nutes?

Same answer as before. Still too early. Patience. Wait for it to get bigger and the small lil leaves start to turn yellow then you should be able to start nutes. 1/4 strength at first.

Should I be worried about this.

Leaves look different

…different than

Could be a little light green? Or that could be the camera angle, so I’m not sure what you’re asking us to see? How about another hint

LOL sorry. The top pic has a leaf which has little white spots on it and the other picture, the leaves are not a uniform colour and look paler between the veins. The fact that you cant see anything that jumps out makes me think its just my paranoia!

I noticed it and then took the pictures.

Well hold on because it does look a little lite green, I mention that was the thing I noticed, what are you feeding & how far along and what’s the soil etc.

…if you want to fill out a support ticket you’ll get a ton of help and probably in a more useable format
