Holy harvest bro lol I need to get on THAT level. I’m sure you the means to have a rotating harvest to be well stocked. I look at my little girls and just hope they start pushing growth at that fast age but seem to be doing beautifully at the moment.

I am slightly concerned with this one’s yellowing or lime appearance. Didn’t know if the lights somewhat crossing was giving too much to this one so I dropped the light intensity to its lowest recommended setting.

But they both appear to be pointing somewhat up and I think that means they’re happy.

How old is that plant? I’m at 8 days today I believe.

Black valentine is 10 weeks an 5 days as of Aug 8th an pieface#6blueberrybubba

Day-12

Made the decision after long thought to pull what I’m assuming was a runt. The guy who bred these says he gets them from time to time. It could’ve also been an error on my part with over watering.

So I popped three different auto strains into the pot and will let the best man win. I was very fortunate from different redditors to get many seeds to play around with. Barney’s blueberry cheese auto, Barney’s skittles og auto and twisted cookies f2.

I’m hoping the blueberry cheese shows the most promise because it sounds delicious.

Welcome to the community @Bigcbud , it’s a great place!!!

I may be a little late to the party, but I just wanted to offer a couple cents to the subject. It’s only my opinion, but you may find the wine chiller to be a little lacking in room. I started off with a couple plants to begin with and I ended up with all 4 shelfs of my hanging drying net full, and it still had some branches hanging. Since then I’ve doubled my growing capacity and am about to double it again. Depending on how much you’re planning to grow, money may be better spent on a window ac unit for the bathroom

Happy growing. :v:

I do have two types of portable air conditioners, one that stands and one that rocks the windows. I would consider it but their efficiency is so horrible my electric bill would be pretty high. Im trying to keep the jump in electricity down to not raise any suspicion(frowned upon state). I also just started to read that ambient air of LED should be around 80-85 due to the way it heats the leaves, so fingers crossed.

In regards to the wine cooler i can absolutely see where that is going to be an issue for me but I can only really grow one at a time. I pray it works because I can spend the time it drys to start a new grow. I appreciate youstopping in and giving me your input though, dont be a stranger. Im only 12 days into growing cannabis so I have ALOT to learn.

Yeah, I hear ya there. I don’t have the most efficient set up. The exh air from both my smaller tents goes right into my lung room, makes it harder for my window ac unit to keep the room cooled down to make everything work.

I’m going to follow your journal if you don’t mind. I like following growers first grows. My first harvest rated right up there with some of the greatest joys of my life, after a lifetime of indulging in the herb, it was like the world coming full circle :joy: :joy: I don’t have as much time to spend here as I’d like, but I’ll pop in when I can. Happy growing :v:

Thanks growmie!

Day 17-

Gave a nice watering of worm tea with molasses and fish shit to help recovery yesterday. Finally removed the first node off the plant, LST and topped all in one. I applied a bead of honey on all the cut areas to prevent it from becoming infected/drying out too quickly. I really wanted to get to it before the 21 day limit I’ve read about messing with autos.

Not sure if I LST correctly but it felt like I did something lol

Blueberry cheese auto sprouted from pot after 3 days

Looking good! Autos can definitely be finicky at times, hoping for the best!

Apple Fritter looks to have some good color tone going, looks happy! You’re rockin’, @Bigcbud

Question - that Blueberry Cheese auto, did you plant that in the same pot with the other two seeds, Twisted Cookies & Zkittlez OG? I ask because I’ve read where that is not recommended. I can’t right off remember all the reasons given except, if left to grow, each one can be inhibited from reaching their full potential. And their root systems can become intertwined making it a bit difficult if not impossible to separate. If like you said, may the best “lady” win, be careful weeding out the runts (pun intended  ) :v: :v:

Lmao yeah given that autos are finicky I wanted to let the three grow to a certain point and just pull the two less vigorous ones. I was very fortunate to be sent multiple seeds in the beginning to where I can do this. After this one though I’ll only do one strain at a time.

I’ve been iffy about the growth because some of the new growth is slightly deformed but I see it come in at another node the same so maybe just a deformation of this strain. I pray the next 2-3 days she’s still standing tall, too many naysayers about topping autos for me to be comfortable.

:joy::joy: You can’t always listen to everybody about everything on any subject… There is tons of us who topped their autos including me without issues. They call it weed for a reason my friend :muscle::sunglasses::+1:

:joy: Even though it’s text when you see someone say something with confidence when you’re unsure it’s pretty convincing. Give me a grow or two under my belt and the doubts should be few. I’m coming for bud of the year 2025 so no need for you to compete lmao. Please?

That’s the reason I didn’t top any of my only auto grow I’ve done. I did, however, put them through some LST that was on the higher end of the stress scale though, and they did just fine.

Some of these seedlings surprise me though. Some that have struggled early on became very robust later on, they’ll fool ya sometimes. On my last grow, I had the seedling in their final 5 gal pots that go around, spotted first signs of fungus gnats and started stupidly trying to catch them with my thumb and index finger and inadvertently grabbed the seedling and …pop! I felt the tap root snap. I just opened the dirt, put it back in, supported it with a wire tie and let it go. It yeilded 3.2 oz of some fine Super Skunk.
