Hello all! This is my first journal. I will be starting out by familiarizing myself with everyone. I am a pot smoker for 6 years now and let me tell you what, I love this plant! I’m smoking right now too. Anyways back to the idea. Growing, I choose to buy a 3 pack of Amnesia Haze Feminized seeds. I wanted a strong gene so I would have a plant outdoors that could take the beating of the elements. I also have a spot no one ever goes around and gets about 12hrs sunlight at the time of peak of summer where I live.

Supplies:
Amnesia Haze Feminized $35
Oakton Ecotestr ph/ppm/tester $60 for nutes
Soil ph tester $20 for the plant

5gal bucket is free I have 3
Fill bottom 2/10 of 5gal with crush stone, drill plenty of holes in bottom as well
Soil: Fox Farms Ocean Forest 1.5 cf blended with 10lbs worm castings, 10lbs perlite non-chem, 2 Roots organic potting soil 1.5 cf (for top layer of new plants in jiffypots/cubes) $TBD$

Water source would be rain water collected into jugs as well as regular tap water
Now all I’m praying for is a beautiful spring/summer 2017!

A tds or ppm meter is probably one of the cheapest investments you can make and will give you invaluable information I wouldn’t skimp out rain water or not when mixing it’s nice to know it isn’t too strong

We’ll, I found it and will be tracking.

If I may ask, what are your determining factors for your soil? I will be starting in Happy Frog and then repot into Ocean Forest.

I will use a 5 gal bucket and dig into the ground enough to submerge the whole bucket of my custom blend mix. These girls will be outside.

So I’ll grow them as soon as they sprout from my cube, I’ll directly plant her into the 5 gal. I will layer my soil so when the roots develop they hit the hot soil at the right time in flower :+1:t3::pray:t3: That said I will be way more into depth as far as the layering of which soil I will put in. I’m hoping the spring months soon come by. :roll_eyes:Rolls eyes but I’m slowly gathering everything now as we speak lol just day by day. So I will be ready way ahead of schedule and I like that.

Hey @AmnesiaHaze Glad to see your taking your love of the this plant to the next level. If you were serious about making this your career for now you are doing fine in regards to the 5 gal your going to use but in the future I would suggest larger pots preferably 50-100 gal smart pots and grow some monsters to get the most amount of yield you can.

Like I said you are doing fine with your first grow. Use this time to figure out what works best for your growing scenario. Just wanted to give you some food for thought. Good you got all the other equipment. PH and PPM will help you immensely. You’ll do great. Happy Growing!

Hey thank you @SativaStone ! I would love to go on that scale when I get my feet rooted (see the pun?) haha anyways… I think everyone misread my post lol. I got a new job that is my permanent career as far as I know. It’s also a type of career that can help because it’s HVAC Hahahahaha I would love to just work at home with me ladies :+1::smiling_imp::smirk::wink:

But the business itself can help in many many way because you need to know all fields of construction/carpentry. So I know how to build one sweet box :nerd_face:

Also a side note. I got an email regarding Dr. Bergman’s 9 essential skills for growing. It’s a special offer for 7$ and I was wondering how much of an advantage you have with access to this guide.

It is worth the money. I only have one issue with it, but only because I don’t have the funds for the lifetime fee yet. Next year!

I enjoy reading. With the monthly plan, your access is limited by the grow modules. I want them all!

Once I have the funds I will consider it a great investment for my grows. More detailed in depth info IMO. It’s not as socially intensive, but we have this forum for that. :wink:

It’s definitely not Reggie lol it’s some super fire, the smell at least…the high is more of an indica strain.

But some great stuff otherwise :+1: I’ll pack a bowl for ya
