I waited till my 5th week . Ppm was showing between 2-3k for first weeks. It’s when the one plant that is doing significantly better than the rest dipped to under 1k ppm that I started feeding. So pretty much the same as what your doing it seems. Just a little different due to nutrient load in different souls we are using. But thanks . It seems I’m on track. ![]()
@BigCat420 still have awhile before adding the bars but this is where I keep my notes
Nice. Id wait for @dbrn32 brn and see what he says about it. Something he said drove me to go for uva and uvb instead of uvr but i cant remember the topic or id tag you. If your dead set on it tho then go for it. Also @MidwestGuy and @Hellraiser had some topics or replies on this matter as well and some good input on uvr and far red
I commented on other topic. Now that I have better handle on situation, I don’t think I would spend anymore on lighting right now. UV isn’t going to make that significantly of an impact that a new grower should have to worry about it.

I just trimmed up my plants for the first time. They was so thick I couldn’t get into water or feed without it being a complete pain in the ass. Also I couldnt even see what was going on in middle by stalk even by gently pulling branches to the side. Also did a little bit more topping while I was at it. Watered and fed.
I just want to make sure I didn’t over butcher em cause I pulled allot off.
Read that lower thin limbs and stuff light doesn’t reach should be cut anyway. Did I do this right? To much? Needs more?
Not now, but I have decided to get it. Not supposed to use it till flowering anyway. And yeah I’m a new grower but it’s only 180 bucks and besides I have a bunch of you guys ( experienced growers ) helping. I just can’t see it not being an advantage.
They look good. If they were mine, the next defol would be about 2 and a half, or 3 weeks into flower.
Having said that I still really appreciate your advice and where your coming from.
. I take in consideration through many of people’s advice and kinda go with a middle result if I can or a majority vote if not.
Great, thanks. I think I’m going to veg a couple/few more weeks and flip I to flower mode.
Then will do again as you mentioned.
Just transferred my 2 " made of honor"and 1 “Washington mac1” seedlings into another temporary homes. ( I gal mesh ).
1 moh was looking great and beefy from the start. The other was looking pretty small and a little burnt but she grew almost twice her size overnight after transplant.
Happy about that now she is looking healthy to. The Mac 1 is doing o.k .
Still keeping close to wall due to light being cranked up for my 5 zkittlzz. Will try to remember to add pics when I get home.
I just harvested this little bugger yesterday. Had a sweet taste with a splash of sour almost like a candy. Was pretty tasty.

My newest little girls to the family. 2 " made of honor " ( twenty20 Mendocino) on the outsides and a Washington mac1 ( friend if a licensed farmer breed) in the middle.
Welcome to stage veg.
How were the terpenes on the
?
Could one of those be grown outdoors in w. Tx?
Would make excellent present
for the mrs.
I was a really young kid since I been to TX but I guess it’s a hot kinda sub tropical like Florida? I would imagine it would do really well. Allot better than a cold place like NY where I’m at. I have plenty of pineapple plants I’ve grown from store bought pineapples next to my windows on second floor apt. But they have yet to flower . I bet if I was able to put outside they would do much better in summer months. The specific plant I got this pineapple from was my father’s. He passed last year and I went down to Florida to pick up his truck and a couple things. I brought his pineapple plants up with me. One was the one I just harvested.
All of these are ones I started incept one on very right. Was one I got pineapple from ( my father’s) .
They are very very very easy to grow and care for. Almost plant and forget , actually is what my father did. Towards the end he was to Ill to care for them anyway.
It does take a little patience cause they are a little slow to start but once they get going they are super hardy. Just a little water here and there and that’s it.
Buy a pineapple from store. Grab a hold of the bottom of leaf sprout close to the fruit. Twist right off. I usually start plucking the lower leaves off till you start seeing the little brownish roots, then I pick some more cause they will eventually rot anyway. Then it’s your preference wether you want to soak in water for a day or 2, some wait even longer , and or just throw in soil. Pineapple are only a few bucks at Walmart so you can try different methods and go with whichever serves you best. Then you just throw it in a bucket and let it do it’s thing. ( It may appear to be dying cause the old leaves will dry and or rot) but I only had like 2-3 out of many actually completely dry and die. So be patient at first . I also gently pull the old rotting leaves off but you don’t necessarily have to. Sprinkle a little water on top and moisture the soil once maybe twice a week and you will have yourself some pineapple plants. Depending on your environment you can start harvesting pineapples between around 18 months in nice outside weather like Florida or have over 3 years like mine inside at upstate NY. But you can’t go wrong. Buy 5-6 pineapples for about 20 bucks , a little bit of potting soil, and you will have a hardy set of plants. ![]()
There are also YouTube videos that will show you how if you prefer to watch over reading.
I would suggest that you give it a go for sure! If you can grow weed , there is a 99.99 chance that you can’t mess up an easy pineapple. Happy growing bro. ![]()

Too cool
Just showed this to my wife.

Ha!
Sounds like fun. I remembered to get a pic right before I left work this evening. Here’s the other.
That is BEYOND cool, bro. ![]()
I look forward to seeing you and your wife have some pictures posted of some bigger and better ones. Your in a better climate for them and growing outside is going to be so much better. ![]()
One assumes, looking at the various sizes of pots you have, you transplant a few times. Tag me in on my first ever. Lol when does the pod casts start?
Its on our bucket list.
