Hi all, first time poster, my question is how heavy of a feeder is this bubba kush strain, my plant is only 32days old and im currently feeding it canna coco @ 1.9ec and by the lighter shade of green on the leaves it looks like it wants more, can anyone with experience with this strain please chime in and let me know roughly how much more I should be feeding her?

Welcome to ILGM forum. If possible post a pic of plant in natural light or just using flash from Camara. If lighter green is at top of plant it possibly could be just new growth.

They both frequent occasionally. MacG on occasion. LW, isn’t on much, but is around.
Welcome to ILGM. Love to help, pictures would help us determine what stage and how much growth your plant has in relation to your question of how much is too much. Lighting is something we’ll as in related to how much they’re feeding. @Gday_mate

Hi mate OK then thanks for that, I would love to be able to put up some pics, I’ll get a new phone in the coming weeks and start a journal, yeah i understand what your saying, pics would make it easier.
The plant sprouted 33 days ago and was topped at the 5th node yesterday, at the moment it is in a 1 gal pot and in the next couple of days will be transplanted into a 3 gal and then when im happy with the root ball it will be put in a 7 gal fabric smart pot, the tent is a 3×3 and the light is a mars hydro tsw2000, hopefully I’ll have a hlg 550 v2 r spec soon to replace the crappy mars light or maybe even the spider farmer sf 4000 (I’ve seen some good things with those lights)

Yep that light will do great. It’s a knock off of HLG lights, so they’re a little less efficient, but still produces good amount of light. @Gday_mate

I just finished a Bubba kush photo in coco my self. She was a heavy eater compared to my others. I fed her about 900ppm most of the grow

I had this in a 5 gallon pot and under a QB. She got 130w on her side. I thought she would do better than she did. I am sure I can get her a little better next time. I ended up with 8 oz dry. This was her

@Not2SureYet thanks for the pics! How many watts is your qb? Also how many times did you top her? Do you think something like sugar rush would help with the terps? Apologies for all the Q’s this is the first heavy indica I’ve grown

I have had a 260w over 2 plants. I have that light split so i can adjust each side over each plant separately. So this got 130w. I only topped her once. I am still feeling out the photos. And when to do things with them. I normally do autos. I can’t really answer the terp question. I don’t use any thing like that. I only use the bud ignitor, Kool bloom and overdrive. I may even stop every thing other than the OD on my plants I am going to try and mainline. It almost seems that I get just as good of results with just nutes as with additives. I love the OD though. I come one here a couple times a day now. The easiest way to catch me is to tag me. I am probably about 1000 post behind on this side

@Not2SureYet 8 ounces from 130w! That’s bloody good, I only average 1.2g per watt, I’ll be happy the day I start getting figure’s like what you got! Thanks for your reply.
I noticed this morning that the top fan leaves are slightly “clawing” so i dropped the nutes down from 1.9 ec to 1.4 and gave her a good flush, I’ll keep the nutes @ 1.4 ec for at least a few days and hopefully that sorts it out

Mine stretched a fair amount. I had her spread in a scrog for a couple weeks too.

Mine went a total of 19 weeks. I have a lot of pictures of this grow if you want any other pictures. I will find that grow and get you a link so you can by pass the other plants

Hi mate, thanks for your reply! Wow that stretch is more than I anticipated, I’ll have to be sure to stay on top of the training, otherwise I’ll run out of head room and the light will become too close, I’m going to buy a gorilla grow tent next run.

Ok, I am not sure where all the early pictures are. But this starts from here on down though. This site is loading pictures so slow. It would take me forever to wait for each one to see what is in each. You may want to check this out during an off time and hope for the best. If yours is stretching to much. I would start tying her down while you can
