Favorite Nute brand and why

I use part A and B and epsom salt. Same nutrient mix from start to finish.

3.6g of Part A
2.4g of Part B
1.5g of Epsom salt

I use 1.5g instead of 1.2 of epsom salt.

Most members use this recipe, but others have adjusted it a little. It works great as is and it’s really easy. @Winterwind401

I would love to live up there! I have a friend who was born in Humboldt and he’s retiring and moving back from the valley.

well that’s pretty simple. I looked at their web site and saw they have several different varieties and have actually published a cannabis feeding schedule, but if the A B and epsoms works I will probably try that, the FF stuff is so expensive and seems like they really make you buy a whole lot of different products to make it really work.

That’s exactly how they make their sales. Lol

That’s why it’s easy with jacks, and so many members use it here. From start to finish.

Thank you for this thread @Winterwind401! I have been trying to figure out what I want to do next. I’ve been using the fox farm trio for 4 grows now, and am not thrilled with it. After reading many threads and this one, I have made my decision to use Jacks. I just placed an order of two Jacks 321 sampler packs on their website (2 to get free shipping). 2.2 lb bags each of Parts A, B, and epsom salt in the sample pack. They are paired with Amazon, so I didn’t have to enter my cc info. I am excited to not worry about which plant needs what nute. I just started a new grow with Sour Diesel autos and Gold Leaf photos, so it will help keep my sanity.

General Hydroponics Floranova (not Flora series).
Does anybody else use Floranova? Still trying to figure out if it should be supplemented

@Covertgrower, with the Jacks 321 do you feed it with every watering, or do plain waterings in between feedings?

Feed every time. I have tried to do water only, with coco, it doesn’t end well.
Personal experience with water only, is that you can only do a single water only, otherwise your plant will display deficiencies. I neglected them mostly out of lack of time for them, with two jobs and an infant at home. Allow my neglect to be a learning opportunity for everyone else. Haha.
I got everything back on track now.

I have been using FF nutes all these years in soil.
I am switching to Jack’s.

Have you tried the 12-4-16 RO water version of Jack’s yet?
I was about to purchase part A & B but found the RO nutes and schedule(pure & simple nute schedule) that uses that and 10-30-20 Bloom for bud set and 7-15-30 Finish in late flower… Plus epsum salts.

I use RO from RO Buddie from well water.

I’m definitely going to look into the options. I also use R/O water. I’m not trying the Jacks because I’m unhappy with my current routine, I’m doing it because I’m going broke with my current routine, lol. At least I know if for any reason the Jacks doesn’t work out for me I can go right back to what I know.
I know everyone says how easy the Jacks is, but when I’ve gone to their website in the past I’ve been confused. I’m one of those people who sometimes has to look things over several times before I really understand or at least until it sinks in.
Another great thing to know is that I can scroll through countless threads here in my spare time searching for specific answers from the Jacks users and take screenshots of everything I think is good info for me. Then I can sort through it all and make a plan!

I haven’t. I use municipal water.

Maybe we can help? Feel free to bomb my thread any time. That goes for anyone.

@Cap_Ron I was confused on jacks website as well…
The (+) plus just gets confusing:

What I did, that helped make sense of it was go straight to the RO water nute schedule (Pure & Simple) and that listed the other stuff needed.

So the RO version

Epsum salt

Bloom

Finish
