Favorite Nute brand and why

J R Peters, aka Jacks nutes is one of the cheaper fertilizers to mix, doesnt require 10 seperate bottles to mix and store, just 3 bags.

Jacks was selling fertilizers to farmers before most of us were born. Not a fly by night nute company.

I have only used the General Hydroponics FLora Series with Si and Cal Mag and KoolBloom additive and I have no complaints in how I use it in my setup and my harvest…I believe having a liquid nutrient base is better than having a powder nutrient base that must be dissolved…my 2 cents

They have a veg one and a bloom one. I also dry amend with worm castings, bonemeal, and occasionally lime. I can tell how the calcium in the soil is fairing by the nearby tomatos and how they are doing with blossom end rot. They are all grown in the same soil in my raised bed gardens. I’m sure there are other things I just can’t remember right now. I have some Hydroponic stuff the plants seem to love along with a fish emulsion and seaweed thing. But I don’t use those last things very often.

Pretty much all my outdoor buds turned out like this and trust me when I say I didn’t do a whole lot of fussing over them. I traveled 3 weeks out of every month and hubby just made sure the water was on schedule. I fertilized when I came home on the weekend which is why I like the dry amendments. They saved a ton of time. No ph’ing, no testing runoff (LOL)

Oh wow! Those are beautiful!

This is my first time growing (I’m in Northern California), I started my plants inside, once the weather stays consistently decent and days get a little longer I am going to start transitioning them to outdoors.

I will definitely be looking into the FF dry stuff, with work and the family my schedule is pretty jammed so I am all for anything that can save me time.

Thank you for the information too, I appreciate it.

Thank you friend! All of my plants were about 8-10 feet tall. The only plant that didn’t fill out like that was my Mango Mintality… one I won’t be growing again. That bud was about the same length but larfy and airy…

This is the Chocolate Thai

I’d hardly say perfect LOL. If you consider 110 degrees l, 20% humidity and 30 mile per hour winds perfect… I call it an Air Fryer

Have you talked with hippierunner1? Im sure he would be great source for pest control.

My favorite nutrient brand is jacks nutrients. I use jacks with a few amendments for additional growth. Not necessary, because jacks by itself will grow a fine plant.
I use Tribus, kelp, and humic acid, while not necessary I feel like they add benefits.

Which line of jacks? Do you change from veg to bloom or just use one straight through?

I use Jacks nutrients . I bought 30lb bags in 2020 when I started using it and I have 10lbs left. I’ve been here 6 years and the experts convinced me to try it. It grows real good weed always and no nute deficiency. GH…AN…FF all good nutes but you’re paying for mostly water @Winterwind401
