I’m going to take a look at the article as soon as I get home from work. I been watching videos on super cropping and still never brought myself to do it. But I’m feeling like I’m going to have no choice at this point because of how big she’s getting. I may also end up having to add in the second netting as well because some branches are starting to fold over.
I do believe we full transitioned though on the plus side. This morning because I was skeptical still on the super cropping I did some defoliation to get better light in there. At least something I thought was better than nothing…
HST can be a little scary the first few times, but when you finally decide to make the leap it’s great fun and not as hard or detrimental as many might think. If the plant is happy in can handle quite a bit. I was the opposite. I worked other peoples grows so long that by the time I got to call the shots it was torture time.
Naw i dont think youll kill it. It is a weed. Ever weed wack one, go back in a month and the same sob there, just bigger and scarier looking. Just my thoughts.
The part you folded won’t stand back up much. Your looking for the nodes and apical growth to turn up towards the light. That’s a good indicator that they are recovering from the damage. Looks like your there.
Oh okay, when you said standing back up I was like uhh but yes the nodes it self is stretching back up to the light. I was planning on adding my other net just to keep her propped up enough so it’s not gonna be too much weight on her. And to kinda space out the plant a little bit more then what it is now.
So the part that I folded is practically standing all the way back up again… I didn’t bother adding in the other netting. I’ll do that in mid flower if needing too. I’ll update with pictures once I get back from work.
So I was in the tent this morning and noticed some leaf tip burns. Ph in is 6.4 out is 6.1. EC in is 2054 out is 3396. So I’m thinking nutrients got locked in there and should go ahead and water 6.4 until EC drops ?
Also beings I hit week 6 of flower I’m pretty much maxed out on my 100w light I think it is. I have it sent to 90%-100% and only noticed it after I turned the light up. But didn’t think it would cause the tips to burn figured that would be more of a nutrient burn.
Burnt tips usually indicate high EC in the root zone. Looks like your close to ripening phase. The nutrient demand will start tapering off the last couple weeks so you’ll want to adjust your feed strength accordingly. You could flush them down next water or just plain water the next few days till it comes down. either would be acceptable. Normally I would say reduce light along with the feed as they ripen, but since your at 100w you can probably just ride it to the end at max.
Nutes are called mobile or immobile. Deficiency of mobile nutes start low on the plant and progress upward, while Immobile nutes show deficiency at the tip of the branch then move down as deficiency progresses. Most of the time it has little to do with the light, especially with a smaller light. I see a few little things developing, but I’d still guess that the source is over feeding or under watering. How often are you watering?
On a side note, this looks like a nanner. You might do a good inspection.
