I think I got a midget autoflower lol

First time grower, so I’m sure it’s me.

Planted Amnesia Haze AF the second week of Oct and “Melissa” is only 6” tall. Is there anything I can do to save her or do I just need to be patient?

Autos kinda do what they do. As she is going into flower, its kinda at its potential as is. Love her and she’ll get u some nice nuggs.

Thats why I grow photos. Much more control over when they go into flower and the ability to keep in veg u til ur ready to flip. Sorry charlie…

All it took was a couple of those 6" plants for me to decide not to grow autos. I am planning a run with some Siberian ruderalis once I acquire the genetics. But they will be for CBDs…

Looks more like a bud than a plant.

Yeah that soil looks awfully “chunky” and I don’t see any kind of drainage additive like perlite or vermiculite. Very important to have a loose, well drained soil/medium.

Yeah , too much wood chips ( acidic)

As @kellydans stated on the medium . Looks dry as well. Fox Farm Coco Loco is a great coco medium to start with. It’s amended with nutrients and beneficial bacteria that’ll feed your plant for 4-5 weeks with PH’d water at 5.8-6.0 :love_you_gesture:

Oh man I’m against cocoloco it was not good for me. Cocoloco should be treated as a soil not coco also will get better growth out of it from my understanding. I did a good wash and rest everything in the cocoloco also and still nothing but issues with it. Ppms were all over the place oh could not get right it was a mess from the start. Ended up transplanting after a week in cocoloco and plant looking dead I mixed ffof and cocoloco like a 50 50 mix and it went well from there. After that mishap I switched over to canna coco bricks and it is the best switch I have done so far beside switching from blurps to hlg lights lol

Likewise on the light brother. I’ve had great success with coco loco from germ to harvest. I like the ability for constant feed and watering. I’ve grown in soil and prefer the cleanliness of coco over soil. I did mix HF and coco but prefer not too for PH reasons. I use the coco loco mainly and auto pots because of my work schedule, up at 3:30 for plant maintenance and then off to work by 4:30 and home by 6:00-7:00. Makes life easier for me and especially the plants :love_you_gesture:. I’ve heard nothing but great stuff about Canna and will most likely venture down that road when I can get more free time. Thanks for the input Brother

Hi @ShortyGal welcome to the community!
I had one of my plants do what yours has done. Grew two inches and started flowering. I kept it as a novelty, framed it in a shadow box . Once it started flowering the plant didn’t grow much. Keep her! Buds are cute and a great learning experience.

I grew 2 midget autos myself and it sucks. Now I plant more than I need and cull stragglers

S.W.I.M. someone who isn’t me🙃

I started with three. The first one got overwatered. The second one was growing like a beast and then all of a sudden one day it was as if someone had stood over it with a magnifying glass and burned it up, and then there’s Melissa here. She’s the only one that made it. Might rename her to Tyrion Lannister.

Outside you started it way too late.
