Everything was going swimmingly, then

@TheOldGardner I will just say it like this. I have a 4x4 tent with 4 plants. This is what my hell looks like. You won’t have room at all. It unless you keep them very, very small.

Remember you have to have lights up. Recommended to have a fan for circulating fresh air. Now if you have Carbon filters and other thingsw

This is an older photo. It’s like a jungle out of control. I will never grow 4 plants at the same time. The tallest was 72” tall and the others have caught up.

I only grow in soil.

Think 2 plants in a 3x3 would be a wise decision? I have been reading up on topping/fimming and SCROG. I’d like to make full use of the space I have before investing in another tent.

If you Scrog absolutely since you have to train it. I prefer mine to go ballistic. My next grow is only going to be 1 plant and I’m going to make her fill my 4x4x80” tent completely. Even if I have to take the walls down.

I prefer big plants because it’s easier for me this way due to there is no room for me to manage a Scrog and what not. Plus I have massive spinal damage so bending over isn’t an option for more than 15 seconds at a time.

3 of those plants in my was Fim.

I have to step up my game after seeing your jungle. Lol.

@Covertgrower Now you know I don’t do small plants. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I don’t mind larger plants, but with larger plants comes more responsibility… (see what I did there?) lol. When they get to that size you can end up with more larf on the lower 1/3 from lack of light penetration.
Despite their size they look good. @MrPeat

@Covertgrower Thanks…I won’t do 4 again. I call the bottom popcorn buds and these are the ones I test after pulling them. I won’t do more than 2 plants at a time. Because this one got way out of hand.

Remember these are the seeds that did a high dive into the toilet. I wasn’t actually expecting to grow to be honest.

These bushes are gonna get a trim. Shaved, not furred is my motto.

@TheOldGardner I’ve never have had a mother plant for cloning either. Others do. I have over 400 top shelf seeds.

You could have more plants if you wanted, just flip sooner. I need variety so I always run more plants. @MrPeat

@Covertgrower I don’t need 20 lbs a year. I could get by with less than 1 lb and make it last over 1 year. I love the challenge of growing monsters.

Even with me helping one of my sisters very good friends with cancer is like me. I smoke just enough to be able to sleep. She has 14 grams and will probably make it last 3 months.

Update, should be harvesting in about 10 days. I kept them in a veg state for a long time since I was going to be out of town. But with the lockdown I was able to take them to bloom

How long have they been in flower? Looking at them I would estimate you have 3-5 weeks to go. Many white pistols which help tell the age but the buds still have a lot of weight to gain. How do the trichomes on the bud look? I can’t tell by looking at the picture. The trichomes on the bud will tell you when it is harvest time.

About a month now. Thanks. I don’t have a glass yet to check the trichomes, should arrive in the mail sometime next week.

If you have been in flower for 4 weeks I bet you have 4-6 to go. If not longer. Patients and you will be rewarded.

A question for you about watering. I water every other day, I give a pretty good drink, 3 solo cups of water. I also have a terra cotta spike that holds a wine bottle that I keep on all the time. R/O water no nutrients ph between 6 - 6.7.
I have GH flora series that I give occasionally in reduced amounts but I haven’t been since I’ve read straight water in soil gives better taste. So finally to my question; should I give nutrients or keep with the straight water?

Straight water would be for the final 10-14 days. Right now I’d still be pushing the nutrients at a high level but that is my style. I would recommend feeding them your mid flower nutrients for a couple weeks. Then go to late flower for 2-3 weeks the a plain water flush for 10-14 days.

This is were I think you are in your grow. The picture below is almost identical to your picture.

And this is the same plant 30-days later. One of the buds on the top of the plant is the bud in the picture above. This is what we mean when it will put on weight. Get the food out and keep feeding her you have at least a month left.

Awesome. I switch to nutrients today!
My first grow, I would love to have results like you are showing!
