Early feedings with liquid nutes (FOOP)

I am considering using FOOP in my next run and just a base soil, so will need to feed early. I am a bit confused on early feedings. The instructions talk about mixing so many ml per gallon. In early growing (soil and topdress), I have not been using a gallon of water at a time, so how does this work? If it called for 6 ml per gallon and I don’t use the whole gallon, does the plant get fed properly? Or do I need to use the whole gallon to get the proper feeding? I will be growing 3 autos.

Not sure why thinking about this is confusing to me? But this style kind of interests me.

The 6 ml per gallon is the concentration. If you mix 1/2 gallon use 3 ml

You dont use a gallon between 3 plants?

Foop is good I’ve used it. I use dry amendments now way easier. With Foop the only problem I had was the smell if you used an old batch mixed up it stunk. So I would recommend making sure you use whatever you mix. I would mix 1gal at a time. I would store it in a 60 degree room out of the light where my plants were growing and it still stunk. Just my experience using it.

Yeah my thinking got all twisted up . Yes 3 plants, just never mixed liquid nutes and for some reason it just did not click. So yes, probably just mix a gallon and distribute amongst them. Just working this out in my head, before I jump in.
