I used to make muscadine and scuppernong hooch for my buddies… only reason i grew em… i do a run of strawberry every other year too. When i didnt have fresh fruit, id use juicy juice or frozen concentrate… i didnt drink it, id just bottle it up and hand it out for presents for different occassions… ive got the space again to build a couple of good runs, its just painstaking work trying to juice those bastards. Sir Arthritis has hit my hands early and somedays its a struggle to get em to work.

Just a tip. The paint filter cones are awesome for straining. Oreilys gave em to me for free…

Hello, I am a first time grower, I am running my first plant GDP AUTO’s I popped seeds in coco loco soil on 5/26 sprouted 5/28. Let it sit close to windowsill until 6/2 when I got my light/tent. I have mars hydro ts-1000 led. Put the seedling under the led 6/2 @ 25% luminosity, about 30 inches above canopy, 18/6 schedule. Only have watered with tap water in a spray bottle. Any ideas why my leaves are so droopy and stagnant?

So, lets start with the stretching. I would advise to drop your lights as low as possible . 12 inches and your lowest setting. This will help with stretch. Seedlings get their water from the air through their leaves, not the soil. A dome misted on the inside a few times a day will get her the water she needs. When your soil dries, add a few mL around the base of the seedling. You want the roots to search for water. The magic will happen underground while youre pampering above ground.

Thanks mate, I will definitely try that out, and post an update in a few days

I am a first time grower as well, believe me when I tell you these plants are resilient as hell and you are in the right place for information and help.

I did a ton of research prior to growing but actually growing and caring for your plants is the best teacher of them all. If you are like me you’ll find yourself checking on your plants everyday and every little imperfection will have you searching these forums or google for help. But just know that no two plants grow the same and stuff will happen along the way.

Good luck and don’t be afraid to ask questions here. The place is filled with a tong of knowledgeable growers.

You were not wrong.
They’ve grown so much in the last 30 hours that if I don’t see it with my own eyes and someone just shows me two pictures saying it’s a one day difference I’d call absolute bullshit.
Same order, Strawberry Banana first, Lemon Haze second

It’s insane. I’m very very happy.

Guys, I need help.
I’ve changed the water yesterday, gave them 3/4 strength nutes, they’re already have a deeper shade of green which is good as far as I know but Strawberry Banana started to look sad with her leaves pointing downwards. Lemon Haze looks better than ever which is strange because I did exactly the same thing to both of them.
The light is still at 75%, about 17 inches from them.
What did I do wrong?

I dont think youve done anything wrong. Might just be from the water change. Give her a day or two and allow her to recover

I agree with @ChittyChittyBangin, I doubt it is anything that you have done wrong. Our plants, like us, have up days and down days. Sit tight and see what happens. If it gets worse, then it might be time to consider taking action.

Thanks a lot, I’m still worried but a bit less.
I guess I’ll just have to wait it out then and hope for the best.

You can definitely give them full light now, but make sure that the height the light is above the canopy is what the manufacturers recommend. I know nothing about hydro as I grow in organic soil, but I agree with anothers comment that they look a bit light in color.

I do too. Im learning hydro slowly but surely though. Ill probably never grow hydro but the information is stored if i ever want to. Plus, it helps with folks in here.

Absolutely. For me I have no interest in hydro: balancing nutes, salt buildup, ph balancing, not to mention the nutes cost way too much. I love soil as it does what mother nature intended given that the soil is balanced

Can i get an AMEN??? Plus i think soil grows taste better. Ive always been told, you want better flavor? Organics. Its the only way i grow.

They’re far more green than the picture shows, my phone’s camera is not the best and the bright white led makes them look even lighter in colour.
I’ll do the research after work and set the light to full, they’re on their 6 hours dark period right now anyway.

The reason I chose hydro is because I’ve read that it’s faster and I’ve not had a smoke in a bit more than three months, it’s nearly impossible to get where I live so I’m trying to get them done as fast as I can. Same reason for going auto instead of photo. Soon as I get a couple of grows behind me and a stash built up I’ll definitely go at least photo, but I might also try soil and see which one I like more.

Any idea what’s happening here? This seed popped 5/28 and I transferred her to bigger 5 gallon on 6/4 because she was stretching and buried her stem about half way down. been on 18/6 schedule. With mars hydro ts 1000 @ around 12 inches height 25% luminosity, growing in coco loco, first grow ever so anything is helpful please, the leave tips are lil yellow and brownish
