Hello all. I’ve been reading through the plethora of suggestions and at this point I’m overloaded with thoughts, questions and ideas. I have girls in hydro and dirt all under the same tent. My question for today is when will I begin to see trichomes? The pics are from today.

Nice ladies you have. Welcome to the neighborhood 
You can start looking at trichs about 3 or 4 weeks after flowering. They will like like glass clear at first, then cloudy as time passes.
You may want to try to tie those tall ones down to level with others.

Thanks! How would you recommend I ‘tie down’?
Could you guys help with this? You want to try for an even canapy so light can get to all without burn. How far are you into flower? Can the 2 tall ones be bent a little or are they too tough. Please do not force. I am going to tag a few to see if it’s to late to supercrop or just leave them.

Another idea, can you put the shorter ones on a riser to get them up?

@beachglass got you on the trichomes, a few weeks for that.
Risers most definitely for the short ones.
Would I super crop yes but plant canopy being even is important to me. If your a new grower I would play by ear and see how close to the light they get. If too close then you’ll have to super crop. You’ll probably end up having to so I would start watching videos and reading on that now.

Thanks for the tag Beach, @Lmckenzie0322 I grow a lot of sativa and have to deal with this very similar situation quite often and I always supercropped them but I don’t like doing it when the plants are flowering so I came up with this where I gently bend the branch over and hang one of my training stakes out towards the end and it holds it over instead of having to kink or even pinch the branch like a traditional supercrop I’m calling them earrings 
here’s one of my 24k gold it’s really trying to grow out the top of my tent

When you pull em over just do it towards a spot that it won’t be hanging over something else shading it and as the buds get heavy you will need a yoyo or something to help hold em up

I would not normally want to risk super cropping this far along in flower.
I did this 20 days after flipping. This plant stretched so much I did not really have any other options. I used soft wire to both provide support so it didn’t collapse and hold the bend in place . This is the day after bending it

Hi all, I checked this morning after they slept and noticed the stem is far too hard to bend. I plan to move
them to another tent where there’s more room and also lowered the light intensity. How do I know if there’s too much light? What are some of the symptoms?
One symptom would be light burn which is where the leaves will turn yellow. A good way to tell is to place your hand directly above your plants and if it’s to warm for your hand, then it’s to warm for your plants!
Look into the smart phone app called PHOTONE. It’s a lightning meter that will help with that

That’s where I’m usually at in flower and dial it back to around 45 the last few weeks
