My Durban Poisons were potted on 8/30 as little sprouts. 
They we’re adequately fed, watered, and provided adequate light, humidity and temps and were planted in cocoa, growing in tents and are now about 4-5’ high. I have been maintaining them with trimming off dead leaves and have had to do some bending down of branches, just enough to push them away from the lights. They have been shooting up and growing tall like no plant I have seen before. About 3 weeks ago I switched to the 18:6 light cycle with hopes that some sleep would help them to flower. Not much has changed except for more height. Has anyone else tried growing Durban Poison Autos with a major delay in the flowering? They are almost to the top of the tent with no flowers and still need to stretch. They are being fed the flower recipe from technaflora. Any advice and guidance would be greatly appreciated!!
Welcome @LilyDrake to the forum. I’ve had this same issue myself with a Wedding Cake Auto. Grew three that time and two flowered with 18/6 and the other one keep right on growing to the ceiling. I ended up topping and switching my lights to 12/12. Sometime the photoperiod gene that the ruderalis was crossed with will be expressed.
Turn your lights to 12/12 and see if they start to flower. If you need to top do so before you switch to 12/12.

Assuming you have had success before with topping autos? I read that it’s not always a good idea and may stress the plant out too much, but I’m happy to try at this point!
Welcome to the community , I’m with @LateNightGardner 12/12 light schedule will get the job done. 10 to 14 days after flip You should see them start flowering. Good luck

Agree with @LateNightGardner on the flip but I’ve never seen or experienced autos taking 3 months to flower…sure their not photo periods? How much room do you have vertically from maxing out your light and the current height from your light to the plant canopy? They’ll double in height during the flowering stretch and some super cropping may be needed 
Hey there @LilyDrake. I have also heard that about autos and topping. Some say you can top them once for good measure during veg. But, when they are getting too tall and up into your lights then you can do some lst and bend them.
Here them autos are on June 26, notice the one on the left has no flowers. The others are finishing up.

In reading your comment regarding what you had heard wrt autos and topping < what did you mean when you said “1st” ? Just want to make sure I am following!
Also, @kellydans, yes I purchased these Sativa strain Autos from ILGM and am also shocked that it’s taking so freakin long!! These babies have trunks with girth compared to that of small XMAS trees and they keep shooting upwards!
I topped them today and have flipped them to a 12:12: hopefully the top doesn’t stress the crop too much!

Thank you @LilyDrake Your plants look really healthy. I don’t see any thing out of the ordinary. If you have a flash on your picture taker it’s best to turn it on so we can see plants in full color to better diagnose.
‘lst’ is acronym for low stress training. This is bending the young growth ever so slightly horizontally. This will even out your canopy and make your light more efficiently hitting your plants.
Here’s some tips on lst.
Noticing you have some leaf curling at some of your tops. What is your temps? Humidity? How often are you watering? With coco coir you need to water almost daily and at the stage you’re in daily. Just do not water if it’s less than four hours before lights off.

- If you grow hydro, then please explain your hydro method. DWC, R-DWC, Ebb and Flow, Or; Other? Other?

Very nice , you may have to get creative pulling an tie some of the limbs down. Depending on how much space you have left . They will hit a stretch mode and you’re probably going to run out of space. Just my thoughts keep us posted.

Here is an update on my stubborn ladies, aka Durban Poison, Autos .
Since you last heard from me I changed the light cycle to a 12:12. I topped 2 of the plants, and performed some LST to try and keep the plants from reaching the top of the tent too soon.
I have stuck to my flowering feed, Techniflora’s recipe for success, and a 1/2 Tsp of Ripen, to try and jumpstart some flowering, once every 5-6 days, with regular water in between.

Durban monsters want to climb high and are still not budding.
Again, these were planted on 8/30 in their cocoa soil, 10 gallon pots. As you can see, they are healthy, but without signs of flowers, I feel like I may have hit an impasse.
If I don’t see anything after the weekend I may have to sacrifice them, and move the DB’s out, and move my Jack Ferer autos in, who by the way, are already starting budding at 4 weeks.
What are my options now?

I’d push them up against the back wall. If you need some space you could clean up lower batches and lollipop them.
If you don’t have room then you gotta do what you gotta do. I’ve been there with too many plants that have overgrown my tents. I did leave the flaps open one time and sat two outside the tent just peeking in. Once I got some room moving them back in.
Thanks for the tag happy Thanksgiving , Plants should start flowering 7 to 14 days after flip to 12/12 light schedule. The net at this point not serving much purpose I would remove it. The branches closest to the light gently pull an tie down for a little clearance. Looking good you’re definitely going to have A tent full.
