Really need more information, like fabric or plastic pots, pot size, medium, soil or coco. Also need a picture of entire plant. Please take picture with natural light or only flash from camara. Post pic and info, someone should be able to help.
Soil I’d start with a 5>4>3>2 schedule coco I personally prefer to do a 4>3>2>1 schedule but you can also water coco everyday and a lot of the mates around here recommend that. I usually do 1/2 gallon each watering but late flower /post stretch near end they drink a lot less water
I’m growin autos in Coast of Maine soil, top coating with CoM dry amendments. I keep my soil slightly moist all the time. Works for me. Others like to water after the soil dries dries out.
What are you growing in, and what are you feeding.
There is no answer to this question. Each plant is different as are individual growing conditions. The plant will tell you when it needs water. The leaves will loose turgor pressure (begin to droop) and the pot will seem light for its size when they need water. Water is heavy (~8 lbs per gallon). At that point provide water based on the size of the plant. Small plants need less water while larger plants drink more. Once you water observe the plant and see how it reacts.
I’ve grown autos in soil at that age I start at 1/2 gal water and work my way up to a gal. I use the lift the pot to check i’ts weight to see if it needs watering usually every 2 or 3 days.
Depends on many things really as far as how much, are you use organic nutrients or salts, are we talking when water with nutrients or plain water, are a few to consider…
But as far as how often.
Pick up your pot when it’s completely dry so you have an idea of the weight. Then water it, and pick it up again.
You water when it feels light weight or when the plant tells you by its largest leafs become more flexible and kinda droop… not really droopy just a noticeable difference like they judt can’t hold their selves up…
They literally use water like hydraulics, and when they are running low they can’t pump up them heavy leafs…
But youtube is your best friend in this case… Spend some free time watching what others do is best way imho…
