Are my small pots going to stunt or kill my autos?

I think I made a mistake in growing my autoflowers in 1.5 gallon pots.

They are at week 6 and they are flowing very well… but now I have to water them every 3 days.

By the time they’re ready to harvest in 4 weeks or so, will these small pots become even a bigger problem being root bound? Help

I’m in 5 gallon pots, almost 7 weeks flower, and have to give almost a gallon every day. I’m outside, though, so mine dry out really quick.

It just snapped to me to answer the rest of your question. I was iffy about the fabric pots also on rootlock, if the fabric holds excess nutes from runoff, stuff like that. I haven’t had an issue with them and haven’t really found anything to really worry about. Plus they are really hard to overwater. Being an auto in later flowering, she’s just gonna suck everything out of a pot that small. More work for you, but she should be ok.

Have you heard of the solo cup challenge? Look it up. Ppl grow amazing plants in a 16 oz cup start to finish. You gotta feed and water more and really all around take better care but you can do it and get pretty good yields. You got this!

She sucks water up like crazy. Thanks. Sounds like I’ll just have keep her watered and fed

No way 16 oz cup??!!

Yep some people even do it hydroponically in the solo cup. Its a lot of work but it can br done so you definitely grow in your size pot

Solo cup experiments are so awesome. I can’t wait till I get to the point I can attempt it.

Hi! I struggled with 3 gals indoor my first grow. Had to transplant one part way through.

I’m using 5s this time and it’s much better for me with the autos. Day 52 and they all get about 1.3 gallons every 2 to 3 days

Look if you really want to you can transplant ur plants into a bigger pot ,you should have a look on YouTube at Mr Canucks auto grow and have a look a channel called highigan and have a look at the 420_scene and beginner buds

If your at week 6 of an auto your plants are pretty much as big as they’re ever going to get minus the putting on of bud girth , so keep on feeding them an maxing out light and next time try growing in 5 gallon buckets with weekly application of humic/fulvic acid and you’ll start to grow some real beautiful giants.

Your fine obviously bigger plant equals bigger yield but it’s whatever

You can make it work, I personally like 3gallon pots for auto’s,
