Barbie is going to hang four - seven days it’s not going to smell that bad (weed doesn’t smell much anymore ? …it’s all Mandela weed now) so I wouldn’t worry about it put it in darkened room, keep fan moving indirectly and you’ll be fine in 4 - 7 days
I personally would wait until the girls were double that in age. I’d go longer, but that’s because I like bigger plants!
If you have the space, and time, I’d wait
What is a good model carbon filter?
There all about the same I use I power
I had to harvest early because of intruders but I think I’m okay , my plants only had another week or 2 at the most . I have them drying inside my closet wit low light and a small fan 24/7
how long will it take for them to dry ?Hey sorry nobody answered your question. For drying it generally takes me 5-10 days, and up to 12 days, depending on the method. You want to have at least 40% humidity and a constant but light airflow, just enough to move the air around the buds. You want to dry the buds as slow as possible in the dark, to preserve all the cannabinoids. Just make sure you don’t dry them out too much, they will lose the beneficial bacteria that breaks everything down in the dry/cure process and it won’t come back. Once they are dry to the touch and stems snap, you can jar them up. They should have some moisture on the inside that will fluff them back up. They will need burped 2-3 times a day for about 10 mins for the first 2 weeks of curing.
I usually lay them out on a flat surface for that time without nugs touching each other. Then the last 2 weeks you can open jar 1 time a day for 5 mins and shake jar to move buds around. Hope this helps. @RD1
