Drying in cardboard box experience?

I just cut my first two ever autos from ILGM…super skunk and Sour Diesel. My super skunk stunted so small grows. I am drying in cardboard box with holes poked…box is closed. I have air conditioner from distance and small fan blowing towards box. Humidity about 65 after day 1 and temp at 69 degrees. Is this going to work for 7-10 of drying.

Sounds like it’s good. Maybe a little cooler would be better. Mid 60’s

I hang for 5-7 days, then do a decent trim, and put the buds in a box for 2 more days to sweat. Then they get a final trim and go in the Grove Bags.

Edit… For the sweat I actually use a diaper box I close and leave a fan on the little holes they put for handles

What a good idea! And I hear you on the diaper thing, my daughter is using cloth which good on her, I guess? Her husband does all the laundry though so… guess it’s fine by her?

Should do just fine! Gotta either shake them up or kinda fluff them around by hand once or twice a day just so moisture is moving around more evenly

I’ll add that - I’ve been skipping that step and I know I shouldn’t. My GG4 is loaded with resin so better to use extra caution.

Make sure to have no light in your grow box! When drying your weed! The light will breakdown and destroy your thc. Make sure your weed is curing anf drying in total darkness to preserve the Thc Trichomes!
