I harvested 2 plants yesterday and then realized that I cannot find my hanging drying rack. So, I ordered a new one. But while I’m waiting for that to come in I had a small problem of a lot of flower to dry…
So, what I did was this. I got 3 big cardboad boxes and put packing paper in the bottom. I then tossed all of my buds in them. I give them a good mixing every few hours. So far they are doing great. They seem to be drying out really good and evenly… actually better than the hanging rack.
I was thinking about getting a refridgerator box and building a nice drying cabinet.
What do you think?
Anyone else done this?
I do not hang limbs to dry. I harvest the bud and remove all of the limbs. I then wet trim and then dry. I’m not concerned with looks, just quality.
I’ve dried in a fridge box before but hung the branches versus buds, slows the drying process down. I use a WeDryer as well but leave as many leaves to help with a slow dry
The box didn’t slow the process down, I kept the environmental conditions around 60% RH and 65 degrees. I strung wire across the top and hung the branches from the wire
I’ve been trying to slow down the drying process. Last tme I wet trimmed and hung buds to dry. This time I rmoved only dead leaves and hung the whole plants and large limbs to dry wth fan blowing indirect air, dehumidifier set at 60%. Check humidity and begin deleaf as leaves dry out…trim when stems snap into turkey bags with 62% packs …about a p. in ea…open agitate burp daily…Happy Growing
