ive read about this and helps keep mold down 1tbls for a gal with molasses
plus the frost it adds
@JohnSwan I’m not sure about the milk part, but unsulphared molasses does feed beneficial bacteria in the soil that supposedly makes a sweeter product in the end. There may be others to weigh in on this.
thanks for getting back
I’ve heard it works and saw a few videos on utube but never tried it myself, although I really wat to try it. Maybe on my next grow o will do a comparison test.
im gunna try it on one of my plants i will keep you posted
@JohnSwan yes please do , thank you. I really am interested in this topic. I’ll set to watch so I’ll get updates. Good luck
sounds good
I want to say someone else tried the milk thing ?
Maybe @DieHigh55 I could be wrong about that tho lol I follow a lot of threads @JohnSwan but the molasses will help with the beneficial bacteria as @Covertgrower mentioned I don’t use it myself so do a little research on that first I don’t think you want to use to much it can attract bugs if I remember correctly just a heads up double check me tho John.
Happy growing brother

Close, I had 2 plants, one got yoghurt with its food the other didn’t. The plant without the yoghurt grew much better. Experiment failed, back to pulling wings off of flies and feeding them to spiders…all in the name of science, of course.
I have seen/heard of skim milk as well. Leave milk on the counter for a few days… I don’t want that in my plant. But, the powdered milk might be good. I used molasses in my nutes, and the girls seemed to love them, but I had no control plant.
I suppose giving the girls a good enzyme supplement would be better than giving them milk products.
I am trying Mike-O’Rizey’s this grow, and per a recommendation on here I added a little to the germination water for my seeds, so it is there to support the baby roots.
Are you growing in soil?
what do you guys think about using Shultz BloomPlus it 10-54-10
