Molasses is useful for feeding the microbes in your soil and not much else. I feed a teaspoon of it every other watering. Be sure to use unsulfered molasses.

Thank you so much! Yes I did make sure I purchased the unsulfured kind. I have been using it for every water since flower so maybe I should stop?

I wouldn’t stop. I would feed a little less, though I can’t say that a little bit every watering is harmful.

This is some of what I found when I researched plants and molasses. I’m going to give molasses a try next grow so I read up on it some. Pretty cool you have a thread using molasses.

it is best if you add it during your plants’ transition from their vegetative to the blooming stage. The reason is that it is during these stages that their sugar need is at their highest.
With the extra carbohydrates found in molasses, you can give your plants a major boost and help them produce more flowers than usual.
It’s best to use a small amount on individual plants every two weeks or so. While you may be tempted to apply more often, it’s important not to do so. This is because it can even cause damage to your plants, such as causing an imbalance in the pH of the soil.
I’m not saying this is etched in stone but I found it interesting.

Morning, welcome to the cannafamily! I have been a molasses user for decades. I believe it helps w the microbe herd in soil, adds a sweetness to flavor and believe it also helps w the curing. As it has been used to assist the cure fish, meats and etc for centuries as well as in baked goods. It’s a nice compliment to cannabis.

My lady flower parts “appear” brighter or whiter, when Molasses gets added, but the mess makes me use less.

I’ll put molasses on salmon fillets then smoke em. One way of using it with fish.
