Dry brittle leaves

The basics:
I’m in the 9th week of Veg
Started my grow in FFOF
Light nutes until last the last two weeks. I fed 700ppm last week and 900ppm yesterday.

I had, what I thought, was a much too powerful Fan in the tent causing wind damage. I turned it off and the same damage returned.

I’m planning on giving them a sledgehammer flush and switching to flower in the next few days. Here are the pics, questions will follow.

Is this nute burn?

I initially thought is was wind burn from a fan that’s far too powerful for my tent.

So I turned the fan off and this damage still appeared.

I cut away some damaged leaves about a week ago and this appeared in the same area of the plant.

I gave the girls a drink yesterday. The strongest feeding to date. 900ppm

I know my runoff PH is jacked at 5.6. Hence the flush coming up.

The rest of the plant looks great.

The one leaf looks like its being munched on. The first photo.

A bug was my first thought as well.

At the level of ppm you’re putting in it shouldn’t cause any burn. What’s the runoff ppm. That could give you better idea where the ppms are in the pot. As for the ph. It will become a problem if not addressed. Maybe before you flush just try adjusting you water ppm high, 7 to 7.5 to try to get the low ppm up to acceptable levels. If all else fails a flush is the way to go.

So wanted to add that your plants are looking great!

Here are some other pictures. It does look like a bug is munching on them.
I have not seen and cannot see any bugs.

Is there a all around good insecticide I can spray?
Any suggestions for something else?

I’ve been so careful on monitoring everything.

My runoff PPM is 250

As for the PH, I already flushed with 7.5 water and it brought it up a little. Not enough though.

I’ll be switching to flower soon, that’s why it’s getting a sledgehammer flush.

Here are some more pictures.

I’d go with a good spray down with neem oil or spinosad, will most likely kill whatever pest you may have and won’t hurt the plants.

With Neem oil, do you want to spray the underside of the leaves as well as the top?

Yes, top, bottom, sides, everywhere, until it’s dripping, with lights off of course and let them dry up before turning lights back on.

LOL, every time I read your posts, I hear it in Keanu Reeves voice in my head. I ran into Keanu Reeves in a elevator of a upscale hotel in LA a few years ago, just me and him and I look at him and say “Damn, you look just like Keanu Reeves” and he says “Yeah, I get that all the time”, then he fessed up and we yucked it up for a minute while the elevator moved on, was stoned out of my mind at the time which made it even better, what a great dude.
