Drill extra holes? [6 Gal Pot]

Grood Morning,

Transfer imminent, week 3. Will this pot suffice as is or will I strike upon it, fiercely, with my decades old and trusty Dremel? Please let me have my way with them!

Controversial mix:
50% Organic Soil
50% Coco - Washed, buffered, washed. .075 EC

I would drill one in each lower pie section :+1:t2:
If not then that’s the amount of water that will be holding :green_heart::sign_of_the_horns:t2:

I would say drill more, all about that drainage :call_me_hand:t2:

Excellent idea, thank you Cold13.

Is there a reason you are mixing 2 medias with completely different pH requirements? Obviously you know the issue as you posted it, just curious.

Welcome aboard.
I agree w/ others. More holes the better for plastic pots.

The mix gives me ample growth, they are in second week of veg but has the width and height of what would take soil three weeks. It also gives plenty of nutrients, so lower matinence initially. My soil is high EC. Best of both worlds. I have also done extensive treatments to the coco, change pH to 6.3, loaded and washed thourghly.

I grow in clay balls with hydro , I drill the bottom of my pots full of holes and around the outside bottom rim . So I get complete drainage .
