So here we go again. I finally got myself into a better state of mind and finished up my new room. So this round will have my first 4 plant room plus my new 10 plant room both RDWC setups. And a few in buckets until I know their sex. 36 hours ago I dropped seeds. I have 8 Cali Sunset regs, 5 ILGM Skywalker OG fems, 3 Purple #1 fems, and one Jamaican berry super auto fem (supposedly) I traded for. Hopefully I can get this one to grow. Here’s a few pics of the new room. I haven’t cut the lids for pots yet but it’s been filled to test for leaks and passed without losing a drop. It’s draining now while the small system is filling with RO water. I need to add a spigot to my water line in my hot water closet until then I’m stuck using a water hose from outside. I will be using megacrop and a few other items from Greenleaf nutrients. I’m also testing a new additive called Bio-520 in germination and in my little system to compare to the plants in the big system. With my current lights arranged the way they are I have 35 watts per square foot in my small room and 33 in my big room.
That’s all I can think of. @haildamaged dropped me off a goodie bag yesterday. Check out the awesome sample pack. Critical orange punch, LSD, Acapulco gold, lucky charms, and a cheese cross I can’t remember.
Yay!! Congratulations for getting your room done! It looks fabulous @DoobieNoobie I definitely am falling along on this one also! Good luck and nice job on the room
Great room set up ! I just watched some videos on that Bio 520 , that looks like something I might be interested in . Keep us posted on how it works for you .
Will do. I plan to split up my seeds so each stain will be grown with and without it (except the lone super auto) so there’s a good comparison. Everything else will be the same as far as lighting, nutes, etc. So it’s about as accurate of a test as I can make it.
I used the bio-520 in my germination. At 24 hour I had about half showing tails. At 36 hours now and most are at least cracked and starting to spit out tails. I’m hoping by tonight I’ll have all. I started to test with and without but I really need them all on the same timeline so I did all the same way.
Looking like a professional setup, I know it is alot of work and time consuming, I seen some wicked looking plants with hydro, I seen a video that claimed anything that is not soil, is considered hydro, so that would mean coca coir , rock wool blocks, and just total recirculated water. It’s all hydro unless you are using soil that is already loaded with nutes. You may have seen this video before? Well I thought even though the guy seems nutty, he explains alot and kinda makes sense but like usual everyones situation is different suited for themselves. Following and wish you a successful grow with huge results.
The only website I have for them is password protected. They gave me the password it has a little more info. I’ll be home later tonight and I’ll see if I can get more details. I didn’t pay for it just to be clear. They gave me 2 bottles for free to test. And test it I will. Good, bad, or indifferent I’ll post the results here for all to see.
Look at his poor plants, not someone I would listen to. Hydro cant be beat and its not hard. If you can use a PH meter and bake a cake you can do a DWC
I’m planning to set it up with 3 holes per tote. I’m going to run 2 plants per this time around the center hole will be covered for now. But that way I can choose to run a single big plant, 2 medium plants or 3 small for a sea of green ish method. I think that gives me the most options. But for this round I’m shooting for a larger amount of medium sized plants to get some variety. I will probably pull clones off these and do a run with big plants after I decide which to keep.
