Don’t seem like the buds are getting fat

So I switched to flower on oct 19th if you don’t count the first week of switch then I just started week 5 of flower today but I honestly thought by now that the buds would be fatter then what they are they seem small This is my first grow. I used fox farm happy frog mixed with roots organic and I did top dressings of Gaia green bloom and two feedings of big bud advanced nutrients over two waterings. The dark green one is rainbow glue the two lighter ones that you see leaf death on is blue cheese.

From what I have learned here they will do most of the swelling towards the end of life cycle or in that time period. They look good and healthy and also like someone said here patience lots of patience.

My concern is the sugar leafs on the blue cheese are dying and idk why but I did check the trichomes and there are a few that are milky colored which is weird because this is only week 5

Lookin good. Like a good woman, they thicken with age.:+1:t4:

Might be self consumption near the end? Looks like a deficiency though with the leaves still dark and spotty? Are you doing runoff #'s?

Yeah I thought the same thing but they have gotten plants of nutes so idk. I did just check the ppm and it’s 2400 so it’s 900 over. I have heard that blue cheese mature pretty fast you can harvest it in 7 to 8 weeks vs the other strains that take longer

Ah do not count on it my blue cheese was last to ripen it took almost 2-3 weeks longer 13 weeks I think

I flipped on the same day as you

What strain?and that’s what I’m saying mine don’t look as fat as yours.

The leaf issues and twisting in those are similar to the issues I had with my first couple grows when getting into flower. For me it was PH issues and salt build up. Oh and my dirt compacted pretty good (FF) so I added perlite to the mix. Otherwise looks normal, mine is about the same age as yours flower wise except it’s an auto and I caught myself wondering the same thing. Seems like that last 1-2 weeks is when the magic happens. Waiting to see that part myself.

Plants look good. Looks like they are working on fattening up 2 me. Many bud sites there.

Quality light will also play a BIG role if ur buds get big/dense or stay kinda larfy or fluffy. :v:
