Week 5-6 of flower, think I made a mistake

Purple Haze - rolling into the 6th week of flower and it’s my first attempt at growing. I Flushed last Friday and seeing yellow leaves and they are progressing rather fast. I provided nutes yesterday and to my surprise, today I’m starting to see some milky Trichomes… Now what? Was thinking my yellow leaves are nitrogen deficiency so I provided the Week 5 Fox Farm Grow Big, Big Bud, Tiger Bloom, and cal-mag per chart. Do I move right to flush with flushing just last week? It seems a few weeks early for the trichomes to turn, but they definitely are. This girl has done great (with some learning lessons). Just not sure if I should let it ride, flush again, or ??? PH is 6.32 after flush. Checked PPM after Water/Nutes yesterday and it was 780. Any advice would be great!

Remember that the wet soil following a flush isn’t going to absorb nutes very well, Follow up with a full feed after the soil has dried back outt and you can water again.

Thank you for your input! With the trichomes just starting to turn milky (literally just noticed it today), should I forgo the pre-chop flush and just back off the nutes now with just feeding it last night? From what I understand, I only have a week or two before chop. I don’t necessarily want a “couch weed” and want to try and harvest a little early.

Can you post a close up of one of the buds? I don’t think you that close to harvest.

Absolutely!

I’d say you’ve got a few weeks left. Lots of clear trics and still a bunch of white pistils.

Feed feed feed! Also make sure your ph is in check. I see ALOT of clear trichs. You still have at least a month left. Might set you back a week since you flushed. Oh and welcome to the growmunity!

Welcome to the community, i am just wrapping up my frist grow after a 10 week flower cycle. 5-6 is too soon! I was like you at my 7th week. Wait until you see a couple amber tricohomes and then whack em’. Or you can do what i did, a partial harvest. I let the lower stuff and a few bigger buds still on the plant to mature even further. This way you will get a broader spectrum of the ripening phase and gain a better understanding of where you want it to be for your next grow.

Thanks for the input! I just checked the drainage PH from my last feed and it was 6.45. But I think I’m looking at a potassium deficiency. I don’t want to over react as I just fed her yesterday with big bloom and tiger bloom and was thinking of adding a pinch of ebson salt to the next watering. Thoughts??

Thank you! And I appreciate the input. Waiting is brutal. I’m getting a little nervous as I think I’m running into a deficiency, possibly potassium. I just fed yesterday, PH is 6.45 but I’m getting some brown tips almost like nute burn. I backed off the light a bit but thinking it’s potassium. Would hate to lose her this late in the grow…

Thank you!! That would make sense. I think she’s potassium deficiency. Just fed her yesterday big bloom and tiger bloom. PH is good at 6.45 but ppm was 780… was going to add a pinch of ebson salt in the next watering. Thoughts??

Raise your ph a few to 6.8. Do you have a ppm meter? Never mind just read… hhhahahaha just raise your ph. Wait on the epsom… see how she does after the feeding amd ph adjustment… next feeding shoot for 1000 ppm

Ok, just so I understand correctly, increasing my nutes (only feeding her bigbloom and tigerbloom now) to 1000ppm on the way in, will also check and note the runoff, and increase my pH to 6.8. Again, appreciate in the input!!

Would you water prior to this next feeding? Or would you just feed with this upcoming watering? I think your assessment is spot on. As it looks like she’s starting to green up again after I fed her on Saturday. It’s subtle but I think we’re going in the right direction.
