Well as of yesterday I’m in week 7 of flower the blue cheese trichomes are starting to turn cloudy and I have seen alot of amber but there is still a lot of clear ones. The rainbow glue which is the dark leafs with the really big buds still has a ways to go. I am curious if it’s normal for the rainbow glue leafs to be as purple as they are though.
Purple stems are normal.
I’d suggest backing off the nutes a bit. Your plant is getting too much nitrogen. Are you managing pH and PPM?
Yep I am the ph and ppm are good cheese, which is the ones that you see where the leaves are dying is pretty much at its end. It’s ready to be harvested in about another three or four days. I checked the Tricom and I’ve got a lot of Amber some cloudy but still a lot of clear too.
You have a couple of weeks to go yet.
On the blue cheese? It don’t have a whole lot of leafs left they have pretty much died out. And the trichomes are mostly getting cloudy and amber. The rainbow glue I figured I still got at least 3 or 4 weeks on it because the hairs are all still white and it’s still gorging up. I’m just worried if I wait to long on the blue cheese I’ll lose the harvest to rot.
I agree with Midwest 'cuz your post from 28d ago looks like about a week’s flower.
Flipped 53 days ago, really this is week 8 by your count.
I’d view that as 5-week old flowers. Half the hairs red. A few weeks to go. It wont rot, keep RH normal and a breeze in that nice open spacing, I wouldnt worry bout that. And theyre lookin good
Weeks left…
Yeah I flipped to flower on oct 19th. I checked the trichomes today on the blue cheese plants and on one plant they are majority milky and amber and on the other plant it’s got some cloudy some amber and a lot of clear so they are definitely maturing at a different rate the funny thing is the blue cheese plant that you see still has some white hairs is the one that’s mostly cloudy and amber and the other one that’s pretty much nothing but orange hairs is majority clear trichomes.ill check them again in 5 days and see what it looks like then. Thanks for all the advice you guys have helped a first time grower out ALOT.
