Not sure if I have or had a problem

Im wondering if this is a condition or is this not unusual. Ive been flushing for a week but instead of paling leaves are drying off. m not worried cos Ill be harvesting in a couple of days anyway.Just for info, I almost waterlogged it in early veg, then I overnuted and burnt it. It bounced back nicely, then I overnuted again and burn it about 3 weeks into flowering. 2 or 3 colas have been showing brown ends ever since, but since I started flushing all the colas are browning out. just looking for info to tryn be prepared for the next one. Ffoc, 3 gal pot, 2x2x4 tent 260w to 370w cfl depending on light config.and AN products… Nice hard buds, just kinda ugly right now

How old are they @MrBaer they look they are close to being done to me
What strain ?
What are the tricombes looking like threw a loop ?

57 days into flower, smaller flowers have some amber, bigger colas are kinda milky. ILGM White widow. Its not very frosty, but its been kinda warm during lights for a few weeks, avg 85, couple times 90 or so, and I switched my blue spectrum lights out for more red and to get more wattage, but just recently read to keep some blue in cos it helps with frost production. Says 60 days for flowering. Im pretty sure ther ready. was just curious about the browning leaves…

@MrBaer. Just looks like typical nute burn. If you’re gonna harvest in a couple days - no worries. On your next grow just pay attention to pH, ppm/ec and never go full strength when fertilizing. You’ll be trimming all that brown off so… all good!

They will eat them selves also the closer they get to being done just a FYI
I feed full nutes just need to watch how much you give them I use ff line of nutes and feed full once a week instead of twice and always water at least twice before feed again

@MrBaer - @Countryboyjvd1971 is right. The difference between what you have and what he’s saying is the color and texture of the leaf. To be clear, in mid to late bloom the bottom leaves will become yellow and floppy. Many will fall off just by touching them. This is a result of the plant cannibilizing the last of the obtainable nitrogen. They will not turn brown and crunchy.

You are correct @majicmarkers I was just throwing it out there
And I would suspect I would burn my plants if I used nutes twice a week as directed
Which is why I said I only feed once a week
I wasn’t trying to say you where wrong in anyway @majicmarkers just to be clear

@Countryboyjvd1971 Lol. Naw. I didn’t take it that way. I just wanted @MrBaer to see the difference between cannibalize and burn. We’re all in it together dude! I want the best grows for everyone. Nothing but love!

I clipped a cola, since I was so close…got a better look at the trichomes. not ready yet still a lot of clear. if the 15 minutes of light dont hurt her, Ima let the rest keep goin.I have some flowers where the pistils are all amber, but they still have clear triches on em.Hmm maybe they will trim themselves…so were sayin this is just manifestation of nute burn? Also…not very loud at all…any input on that?

@MrBaer. Yeah man. If the trics are clear don’t cheat yourself on the potency of your plants. Give it more time. Sometimes they will change in a week or so. Try lowering the hours of “lights on” and if you can, get the temps cooler that’s a bonus. Remember, you’re trying to trick the plant into thinking winter is coming. It will respond.

Yes. It’s nothing but nute burn. No more nutes. lol. She has everything she needs. Just water normally and in a week or two trics will be milky if not amber (ignore the pistols) and you my friend, will be happy at harvest time. :+1::beer::smiley:

This is the one I clipped its probly Its about middle of the range of sizes on the plant, Im very happy size wise…Now I gotta be patient for potency. And thx a bunch for the info.

The only way I could lower my heat was to kill some cfls, will the decrease in wattage make a diff at this stage?

@MrBaer. Can you open a vent or leave the door open while lights are on? That can help. Are you using an inline fan? Filter?

I wouldn’t take any watts away if it can be avoided. In fact, I believe, the more the better.

Im doing all the above. 4"inline fan dedicated intake. 1 oscillator 1 clamp fan I dropped it down to 140 watts 2-6500k, 2-2700k and it stays about 80. humidity is high in my area right now too. I can maintain 50s most of the time.I have good circulation so Im not worried too much about mold or rot. I was running high humidity, following the vapor pressure deficit chart. I only started running drier cos I was planning to harvest. With the 8-2700k 368w 86 degrees consistent but humidity had to be in the upper 60s. If humidity dropped it got hotter. If I crank up 2 more 2700k itll add 92w and I might be able to keep it around 82 or so.Im running 18 dark/6 light right now.

Sounds good @MrBaer. Soon you’ll be enjoying the fruits of your labor!

I just came across a few gelpacks…I think Ill put em in my tent when the lights come on tonight

Honestly @MrBaer, I don’t know. I do know years ago I tried putting frozen gallons of water into the tent with a fan blowing over them… it didn’t really make much of a difference and they melted rather quickly. Lol. You could try… I just don’t know what would happen.

I tried once before earlier in the grow for humidity it worked but not enough. now Im just tryn to lose a degree or 2…cnt hurt to try I guess
