I built a 4 X 8 X 9’ grow ‘room’ in the utility room of our house. It has a 6’ double door for ready access. Home made lights as well. I usually only grow 3 plants in that space once a year.

Current grow in Autopots.

Love that. That’s almost the kinda concept I’m working on for my spare room. 10x12’
I’ll get with you when I start this project. It will likely be ready by spring.
I live on fixed income

Nobody wishes they had a smaller door

I took a look. I think @Budbrother has ya…I would bump up the calmag. I am not a fox farm guy either, You mentioned you recently did a flush reset…maybe there was something limiting uptake. Won’t hurt to add a little more cal mag for the next few waterings

Done! Im mixing up a fresh batch right now. My next grow won’t be FF.
It’ll be Flying Skull Nutrients.
Way better I think, but I started with FF, I like FF but not with auto flowers. It’s too hot and it’s too unpredictable.
With photos it’s great for me.

1 X 3" frame, skinned with 1" styrofoam. AC Infinity 6" fan and controller with a wall mounted oscillating fan. Twin reservoirs so I have 24 gallons of nutrient reserve. A second space: 2 X 4 tent for starts and up until plants go in Autopots. Lights were built 7 or 8 years ago and still going strong thanks to @dbrn32 for the input/tips. Plans for hard wiring with all of the parts but have yet to bear down and get it done.

I live in Colorado at high altitude (7,100 feet) with a dry climate which is absolutely perfect for an indoor grow. Basement stays at 65F year round and whole house humidifier to maintain 35% RH. I usually only grow once a year which delivers 2 1/2 to 3 pounds of dried flower. Plenty for myself and friends.

I’ve yet to see the faintest signs of WPM or mildew either. It’s just not present where I live.

I love Colorado. Trinidad is my fav. It’s like a bowl. Like a small town inna crater hole it’s kinda strange, but I did love that Door Dash would deliver my weed to my hotel.
That was a helluva surprise!

Living on such a fixed income (medically disabled) it’s not a fast project. And I use a walker. Til my legs are healed .
Google San Antonio man collides with via Transportation Bus.
You’ll see my beemer. Jaws and all that jazz to get me out. Took 45 min to cut me out of it.
Spent three months in Brooke Army Medical Center.

Imagine having to walk your plants down the hall on a walker with a seat! Lol to trim or anything else. This is all I do now. Learn this craft. Smoke weed. And drink Wellers Bourbon while I lite this glass up and twist off . Weed. Whisky. Meth. Coke. Bring it on.

Then I have cancer. A literal pain “in the ass” ( prostate) .

I only want to grow 3 plants , so I imagine I’ma have to do a tent as well, to do a cross in. To keep pollen from my grow?

My question is the sealing of the door to keep light leaks from happening. How do you seal the door other than using a black out blanket over it, or is that how?

Dark basement and utility room has a door. I’ve never gotten too worked up about small light leaks. Never had an indoor hermaphrodite.

Forgot, if my pot isn’t completely dried out after my flush 2 days ago, should I wait til it’s dry to apply this Cal Mag, or does folier spray work too? Til it’s dry? Not trying to deal with root rot

This little grow slash drying room has a swinging wooden door on it. Its built over a tub that holds more water than our hot water tank makes. So we didn’t use it lol. That room is now a cold room. And has a stand up shower.

Doors are not needed if the room is dark when the lights are off

Nice grow. I’m on federal supervision, so I’m splitting my available room in half, and it will be somewhat down low as the lung room is where I’ll have shit stacked ceiling to floor to hide the grow room. I’ve got this mapped out very carefully.
If she were to peek in, she would see a storage space.
Not a fully operational grow space
