Did you guys ever hear about scientists saying that they used beethoven music and said that it was good for the plant growth or is that a lie??
Well I’ve definitely heard it before and even just googled it and seen this…
Further studies found both rock music and classical music to exert a positive effect on seed germination, plant height, and number of leaves.Jul 27, 2020
But I’ve never tried Only on my first grow myself. But I’m actually curious if it really works. I’m sure somebody here does it! Can’t wait to hear more responses!
The only way i can think it may help is through vibrations, the constant mini earthquakes formed by music could help water seep into seeds but it’s not like ride of the valkyries is going to inspire your plant to grow faster
Have a cousin that talks to his. Says it keeps them healthy. I think it’s because the whole time he’s talking he is caring for them.
In all reality music in the grow room most likely is to cover the noise of the fans and other gear like bubblers etc for the folks needing some stealth.
Larger inside grows can be very loud.
Err…12/18/24 hour piped music, just thinking that might not be much of a cover?
Depends how loud you like it.
Well, I was just thinking out loud and with that crystal clear in mind…
Maybe sub sonic or ultra sonic sounds, just like IR and UV, might work, mind you, it might drive the cats and dogs crazy.
I agree that there is likely some benefit ( as some studies show ) but for the average home grower will it really make that much of a difference in final outcome with yield or quality ?
Only way would be to give it a try with and without tunes with all other parameters being the same thru both grows.
True enough .
When you talk and breathe your releasing CO2 which plants love CO2
