Music for plants

ok, so studies have shown that plants respond to music, and that they prefer classical music. what i am curious about is weed plants in particular. do they prefer fast paced classical music, like “dance of the sugar plum”, or medium paced songs such as Für Elise… or slow paced songs like “moonlight sonata”?

… or does weed perfer jazz or something?

TIA for responses

I don’t play music for mine lol but Ive read others playing music too. At first I thought it was a joke. If I did I’d play upbeat country music.

i thought it was a joke too… but apparently studies have shown plants grow stronger and better with music. so now im looking to find out what they like the best.

I think whatever you play they will accept

My girls and I listen to reggae daily only time they frown is when I mess up haha :joy: haven’t tested any other tunes or anything but ide imagine that they probably don’t enjoy heavy metal

I used to live upstairs from LaMonte Young, a sixties era musician who wired up his plants to play synthesizers. That’s a whole different perspective on plant music!

I sang to my first grow and they all hermed and then died.Just kidding.

I think my girl would appreciate the music I like. Since the beginning of my grow I’ve been wondering how to pipe music in for her. My radio doesn’t get good reception.

Isochrones tones :musical_note: with the right speaker to carry the frequency or MHz right, it does really works .

It is proven to affect plants. There are a lot of researches made that the right music is good for plant growth as in general.
The ladies don’t have ears but can be affected by the frequencies surrounding them.
In the nature there is wind, birds, animals, etc. and everything is frequency.
I think that when you make the right environment you make them happy, and music is one of these things.
I have read that they like classical music, stringed instruments, all the classical composers.
I play my girls harp music, and some sets specifically made for them.
If there is interest on this topic I can share my playlist and some other details and how/when to play them.

please enlighten me. I think they do respond also. any info much apprecited

Mine like Cbs Radio Mystery Theater

There are a few sets made especially for them like music therapy for plants.
Just type in music for plant growth and choose some sets.
After that type stringed classical music sets and again choose some.
Look for some zen garden music, Chinese stringed instruments, harp music, meditation music.
432 Hz is proven to affect us and them.
The most important to me is never play them when they sleep, nothing stressful with bass, aggressive sounds and vocals. The more relaxing the better.
3~4 hours before feeding them start to play and 1~2 after that stop it, or just play the whole time while they are awake.
The volume should be ri
ght so you don’t stress them, not to loud.

I play Elvis for mine as the ladies are named after our moms that loved the music.

I usually have a radio going in my grow room. And being in my early 60’s I feed them with ever loving 60’s and 70’s rock. I swear it makes a difference lol
