I’m pretty sure, although not 1000%that this bud had some mold on it during drying. Must have dropped on the floor instead of in the trash, a month ago. Just found it about 3-4 days ago and seems to smell … Ok to me. But here is some maybe better way to tell if I’m just tripping or not. Thanks for any advice and input!
All from same bud. What would mold even look like under a scope?

I think it looks fine, discolor looks like trics breaking down. Maybe harvested a little early.

It can look like white powder or fuzzy white stuff. Under magnification I think it kinda looks like dense spider webs sometimes.

I do not see mold. Here is a pic from my last grow… you can see the difference between trichomes and mycelium runs…

Bud rot is the same as mold, correct?
I would just Google all this stuff but, can’t ever get a straight answer from google

Bud rot won’t look like this. It will look brown, mushy, and rotten and then maybe have a little bit of this around it. It will also smell.

Like maybe a Hay smell or musty perhaps?
How do these look, harvest ready or wait-a-bit-longer ready?
I saw them in the other thread. You’re definitely in the window IMO. Cloudy with a little amber. That’s where I took my gg4s this weekend.

Hay smell is normal during dry and early part’s of curing.

Lmaorofl, In that case I may have thrown out some perfectly okay buds then, before. Someone said to me that mold or bud rot “smells hayish”, therefore I through out 99% of my last plant(blue dream)
