I got a usb microscope on Amazon for under $20. This would be a good purchase.It works pretty well, but the supplied stand is flimsy and hard to get adjusted.
I’ll be picking up a better stand soon.
It seems to work just fine, those are pretty nice pics.
It’s just hard to adjust. the stand moves around and doesn’t hold the scope securely so it spins and moves when you turn the focus knob.

That’s what was on my Christmas wishlist, son and his gf bought me a USB scope and a microphone stand. The stand has a boom that can extend with a holder that fits the scope. Could set it outside the tent and reach in for close-ups. My plants are still in veg, but this time I’ll have better trich pics and gauge my harvest window better!
I think you are right you jumped the gun a little. 
Your peak stoned is 90/10 -100% cloudy/clear. Amber is more sedative and painkiller. Typically preferred by us medical users. I will amber for edibles and sleep smoke. I harvest at the other numbers above for head smoke. Just me. My medical clients and myself test at different harvest parameters and decide where we want our yearly strain.
It’s only my 2nd grow and the 1st 1 I’ve done by myself, my granddaughter was the brains of the outfit but she ran off with her boyfriend, I’ve got another beautiful White Widow Auto,I just don’t knoe when to harvest,it has huge buds on it and the hairs are turning orange,its 11 weeks old and has been in flower for 7 weeks. Tomorrow I’ll put up some pics of it and try to draw some comments and opinions

Okay,I promised pics of the WW,the hairs are stsrting to get real brown in what y’all been calling the “A” cuts,in the tips of the tops,in my opinion,based on what I’ve read,these are ready to cut and dry.
