I would tell any one getting a new system to get the 6.6 gallon hard pots. You want the set up that doesn’t have 2 pots joined together though. That way if money ever gets tight. You can re use them over and over. As for the soft pots. You probably will not get many plants that need more than the 3 gallon soft pots growing in door’s. You can get a great deal on 5 gallon soft pots at 247garden. I think there is now one seller on amazon selling the 5 gallon pots too. You need a pot with a 10" base to use in the autopots.
I also use a mix of coco and vermeculite.
if you are doing autos. You can get some monsters. Every now and then you will come across a few that just want to stay on the smaller side.
For the most part. I use 3 gallon soft pots though. I believe @Myfriendis410 just got 12 oz using the 3 gallons

I have 3 sets of these. And one of the gogrow which I never see any more. It was nice in it gave 4.9 gallon hard pots.

I got 14 oz. from the Critical Mass in 3 gallon coco.

Would jacks 321 be considered organic?

I wouldn’t think so. But don’t know. I look as organic stuff as some of the soil grows I have going on. Time to pull @Myfriendis410 back for that

No. Synthetic nutrients. IMO the plant can’t tell the difference between organic and inorganic. Jack’s is a nice, balanced dry nutrient line that is fairly economical to use and is extremely forgiving. I run full strength from seedling to harvest. The only thing I add is silica.

Thats not just your opinion my freind, that is established scientific fact.

Nutrients are minerals and there is no organic mineral, only organic sources.
Plants absolutely cant tell the difference because their is no difference when the plant takes it up.
The reason we say “organic nutrients” takes time to break down before the plant can use it is, it takes time for the organic sources to break down into their base form or microbes to convert them so the plant can use it, and that form is not an organic form, as there is no organic forms of minerals
Synthetics skips all that and gives base mineral isolates “aka salts”.

Its all 100% marketing to get people to pay more and buy manufacturers products
