What’s runoff pH and ppm?

Not watering to runoff was told autoflowers insoil didn’t like it that wet…
Did buy a digital soil ph meter and all were between 6.0 and 6 .4

Heres a look at the bigger picture

I always watered mine till runoff you just have to wait until they are big enough and yours are

soil pH is a little low you want all of them to be 6,5/6,6

The adviced level is 6,4/6,8 but 6,5 is the sweet spot

@OGIncognito @MidwestGuy
let’s help a friend in need

I’ve only fed with nutes the 2 times in the3rd week…
My filtered tap water is running just under 300ppm im going to install the ro system after i get up they should be ready for another drink ill water till runoff and take the reading

Thank you

that’s not the problem low pH causes nutrients lockout. With means your plants are not able to absorb the nutes in the soil,

However I’d wait for the guys I tagged to confirm what I have said before proceeding

Those girls are in full blown growth mode and need food I think. Ph correct and feedem. Check for critters also. Auto so gonna pig out and flip themselves soon. Water to runoff…dry repeat. Just my thoughts.

Soil management is not auto or photo specific Grow Bro. Soil likes a drench to drought routine with 20-30% run off when the plant has established a good root base. Your plants are looking good but a little hungry, run off testing is used to check the nutrients available using a TDS pen to check the PPMs. PH should be tested as well with a range of 6.3-6.8 and 6.5 being the sweet spot. What soil PH meter do you have? No need to panic my friend, the girls are looking good but post us some numbers. When I grow in soil I feed at 800-1000 PPMs and a PH of 6.5 with liberal run off and test. Testing becomes less frequent once you get a few grows under your belt and can spot issues :love_you_gesture: appreciate the tag @Firstimer1299

So im shure i do this correctly…
I have several drain away bases to use…
Do i catch all the runoff and test it as a whole or let most run through and test the last cups worth???
And thank you for the help

I test both

And to answer OGincognio soil tester is from hemdre and ph/tds meter is

apera

Apera makes a great PH pen! I wouldn’t rely on that soil probe moisture meter, there notoriously inaccurate for soil PH testing. Stick with the Apera. I test the last of the run off…:love_you_gesture:

Just starting my first n worst plant…
Solution going in is
Ph 6.49. Con 1037ys. Tds735 salt.52
Watered 1 gallon had about 1gt runoff
Measured last of it. Ouch

Ph5.32. Cond 2.31ms. Tds1.64 salt 1.12

I know im a rookie n all but that seems bad to me. Ph way too low
Im not even gonna guess can you explain to me what’s wrong n how to fix it…and possibly a good article to read

Expect for the low PH that looks good. Typically a low PH is due to a high TDS/PPMs but at around 800 PPMs that’s not the case. At 5.2 I would recommend a reset flush using straight H2O at 6.5-6.8 to get that PH back in range of 6.3-6.8 and follow up the flush with a feeding at 1000 PPMs and 6.5 on the Ph :love_you_gesture:

I had the same problem with some of my autos and I think what my problem was when I was watering the water was splashing since then I have used a spray bottle or become more specific about where I’m watering and haven’t had the same
