Got some better pics of the GG4, I’m running my lights 4p-4a so I can work on them and still benefit from energy savings…
Bootiful!
@DieselGRWR good morning my friend just wanted to say those are some very nice looking plants and some beautiful buds. Hope you have a great day brother keep them growing
Thanks, I appreciate it. Im happy with how my first grow is going so far, can’t wait to get to harvest, cure and finally smoke. I still have a long road but with alittle luck I may be smoking some home grown for my bday this year!
Just got into the office about 30 mins ago, another day another dollar…
I installed my 6" carbon filter this past weekend and wow, what a difference! I could smell the plants at the top of my basement stairs before and now you can pretty much stand next to the tent and smell nothing. Should have put that in a week or 2 ago lol.
Hope everyone has a great day!
Check out Temu !
They have several ph and TDC and ppm meters as well as soil moisture testers !
Delivery is slower than Amazon but the prices are very reasonable!
Forewarn tho most don’t come with batteries !
The ph meter I got needed 3 button batteries !
So far it’s worked quite well !
P. S. It can be calibrated too !
What happens if you don’t let it set out I’ve been using tap from start and haven’t had any issues maybe I will try it and see if it makes any difference
I have been using tap from the start as well, i have filter well water. The little bit of nutes I’m using drops the PH so i just water with plain tap water every other watering (none ph’d) as recommended.
I don’t let my water sit out, right into the can and then down to the basement into the soil. If I am PH’ing the water I usually let it rest for a few minutes to make sure it’s mixed properly.
I’m using one of those cheap ph/light/moisture meters and it seems to be working but I know long term a true PH and TDS meter will help. Just wanted to see how the first grow went before dumping too much money into this.
My well water is 7.2ph right out of the tap and the nutes bring it down to 5.6-5.8. Seems to be balancing well.
The maui is looking less yellow since the last feeding, i think it was alittle nitrogen difficient from when I was on vacation and I had my mom watching my plants. I didnt want to confuse her too much with nutes and ph and whatnot so told he to just water when dry lol. At least I came home to lively plants!
@Frstgrow hopefully that answers your question?
Seems we have the same thing going for us I haven’t had to ph my water either after nutes are added she’s happy so I’ll just stick to what I’m doin
Just so I can keep people up to date and remember correctly…
Plants are looking healthy, no complaints!
One thing I did not mention is I tried cloning…
Cut some off the GG4 to see if I could. Scraped the end with a razor and hit it with hormones, dropped it in soil and kept the light and humidity up. There’s resistance when I try to pull her. Pretty sure she took!!! It’s been 2 weeks or so.
Drooping is because I just misted the box.
If it’s still standing after 2 weeks your probably good!
Grow on!
Just looked back, 2 weeks and a few days
Youre good on the clone…i think… is that a flower??
Yup, trying to take from flower and flip back.
Is that an auto?
It was supposed to be
Gotcha, unfortunately, you cant clone an auto. Itll just run the course of the plant you took it from.
It was supposed to be auto but didn’t, trying to experiment. Worst case, compost lol
@DieselGRWR i feel ya brother. Why not? Dont know till ya try lol
@DieselGRWR hey brother I feel you too I mean if it took root it’ll make you a bud it won’t flip back but it will grow a bud or I would think it would let’s keep her growing let’s see what happens I’m interested:crazy_face: it’s definitely a new one for me I have never tried to experiment with that it’s worth checking out laugh out loud
