Did I drown her?

Mist her and the soil right below just till she is established. But honestly you should just give her a couple sprays. Remember for the next few days the soil needs to dry. Have a fan setup to move the air. The pot will help to evaporate and the fan will kee the air moving which will help the fabric pot. The outside area will dry first and start to pull the moisture from the middle. Do not put the fan directly on the pot, just facing up or straight and oscillating if possible.

If you zoom in on my pictures, you will see the center of my pots a little wet. But the outskirts are dry.

Thanks buddy. I think I’ll sprout another one. Damn I wish I had more room. I’d take over the world. Lol. Next year should have more room then watch out! Lol.

You mean when established gently scoop the current soil up higher then fill new near edges?

Yes, pull the soil from the edges to the center and place the new soil on the outside. That’s if you are doing it soon. In 3 to 4 weeks it won’t matter. Honestly there’s no need to do it sooner unless she gets leggy. But look at it this way later you have plenty of room to top dress!

Since we’re showing off grows…

My newest project starting in two weeks.

Underworld Project X

Man I can’t compete! You have those super nugs! I have decent sized. But by far some of my best for me. Chitty what boosters do you use if any? This is the first time I added it in during flowering. Even then it was an after thought on week 4. Just curious as I know we both do organic. If you tell me nothing I will be crushed.

Beautiful buds and plants!

Ive just zeroed.in on my method. Only booster i use outside of teas and dry amendments is Flower Fuel once a week starting week 5

Like everyone else said no more water for about a week. Seedlings need very little water. Get a little squirt bottle and squirt just enough to keep soil moist not wet. Once you get the first set of true leaves you can start feeding liquid seaweed and r.o water p.h to 6.8 again not wet, moist . You dont want to suffocate roots but you dont want them dry. Ive been growing for a year now still have lots to learn ,out of over 100 plants i only killed my first one lol, i drowned the piss out of it. Best of luck and happy growing. Somebody here once told me less is more. Keep that in mind.

I do use that same brand. Started using it on the last grow.before this one. But decided to try out big bud bud candy and overdrive for this one. And I did not use the flower fuel. Probably could use it all

But remember if you youre gonna boost the nutes ya gotta have the boost in light. I had about 1800 watts of light on these puppies

Thanks Blue. Noted. Lol

That I didn’t know. I’m sitting at 800 and that’s with LEDs bu watts are watts I guess. I think unless I buy a new stronger light Im at my max, because I cannot fit anymore.

So…I am sprouting another just in case I drowned this one. Once it has sprouted and I put in soil. I pop finger in and up to first knuckle…pop her gently in then gently cover with soil. For the next week tell me how I should water from the very day I drop her into the soil - because this is where I went wrong. Do I just mist or do I water little around away from the seed itself? There are conflicting bits of info on this.

I just dropped 5 about an hour ago. I soaked in a peroxide/h20 solution for 24 hours. Had 5 out of 5 taproots about 1/16th long. Planted 1/4 in deep in Coast of Maine seedling starter. Once seed pops soil, they will get a humidity dome spraying 2 to 3 times daily ( unless they arent dried out ) they might get a few drops of water daily. I mean drops. Not much at all… ill run 78 to 80°F temps at 75% humidity until they are transplanted

See even that is a loaded question lol. Did you germinate before putting in the soil? If so, then that little area that you pop the seed in is all you need to keep wet for a few days. Then around day 6 start to water the outside. Just a little enough to get about two inches 2 to 3 inches wet. Then by day 10-12 water it in. If you are doing a fresh seed directly in then water the top round and round enough to get the same 2 to 3 inches wet. It will stay wet the whole time you will be good

Yes - I guess when I say sprouting I mean germinating - it is germinating in the dark right now

How long no water and just drops?

ok so after sprouting/germinating pop in soil and just mist for a few days? Then day 6 water…how fucking much…lol…2-3 inches wet…im thinking in a circle around coz everyone says not directly near…around the dome…then day 10 to 12 water it in…what the hell does water it in mean? Treat me like im REALLY REALLY STUPID!

Few days mist…mist the whole thing or just the dome or no dome and just the soil…fuck me I annoy the shit out of myelf!

You got it. Once she pops, put her in the soil. First wet your neutral bed for your seed. I guess you understand this part as you have successfully popped and planted.

So I treat a new seed somewhat like a transplant. I build my pot, then I take a cup and make an indention into the soil with the bottom of the solo cup, just passed the second ring, about halfway up. Then I do a separate bed for the seed. I personally use calmag mixed coco, worm casting and perlite. Wash the coco twice. Mix everything together and I fill that hole and make a little mound above the soil. My seed goes there, and that is wet enough for 5-6 days. I do dome cover for 3 days continuing to light mist the soil and the leaves. This will also keep the soil just damp enough.

Then depending on what you plan on using everyone is different. Some people don’t care but to add anything. I personally only add nutrients one time to my organic grow and that’s a seedling booster half of suggested, only because sometimes my soil is hot with the first water the booster is a go between to get the roots ready. Sorry off topic.

After 5-6 days I lightly water from the outside in. Water it in means soak it till you get about 5% run off. Make sure the center of the soil gets some of that. If you hand water from the top, take your time and let it sink into the soil.
