Welcome to the group @Mucluc
Unfortunately the picture didn’t upload
It happens to us all so don’t feel bad
But when uploading, watch for it to finish before hitting post, and let each picture finish before starting another picture if trying to upload multiple pictures :+1:

As a new member you may be limited to how many you can post or other limitations.
But you can over come this by simply spending time on the site reading post’s and exploring around.
It doesn’t take long and the limitations are lifted :+1:

Ok i just learned something new
I can actually see the picture if I touch the number :flushed:
You don’t know how many times I and others have explained the “wait till it finishes bit”
And that may not have been necessary :man_shrugging:.
@PurpNGold74 did something change with picture uploads or am I just tripping

@Mucluc but I would say a little defoliation of giant fan leafs from the top that maybe blocking lower bud sites couldn’t hurt, it will also increase air flow some.
But others will most certainly disagree and that’s ok.
Air flow is most important and some defoliate heavily and some are totally against defoliation and every level in-between
It’s ultimately up to you, just dont strip it bald

Looks good. I’m not a fan of defoliation unless it is extremely thick, then I’ll do some. I would leave yours as is for now.

@Mucluc

In my opinion, at this stage it doesn’t need defoliating. Agree you want air flow but that doesn’t seem to be a problem with this plant. Some plants are excessively dense and some aren’t.

I do not see any fans in your tent. If I’m correct, I’d see about putting in at least 1 oscillating fan. In my 2x4 tent, I have 4. Two upper and two lower.

Just my opinion and as @1HappyPappy stated, there are lots of opinions on this subject. Plus, I’m pretty new at this and no where near an authority. Still enough experience to offer an opinion.

I agree with all the Growmies above it’s a personal preference. I think it looks good and would roll on as well is. Also welcome to the Canna-Fam Growmie miss a great place to learn and meet like-minded people. I’m out of likes so everybody above here is my stand in

I do see one thing that can be critical.
The exhaust fan on the floor inside the tent will not give you proper air circulation.

Air flow will take the shortest path possible and the fan right beside the open duct will cause fresh air to come in from the duct and straight into the fan and out the top never moving much air in the tent.

Here’s a picture to help make sense of what im trying to say as im not medicated yet so its hard to articulate

But since heat rises, we want to suck hot air out from the top and cool air in from the bottom.
There are many options how to do this but they all follow the same principles.
“Hot out the top, fresh in the bottom” and all open holes should be as low as possible as any hole closest to the exhaust will be where most of the air is sucked in from.

Here is how i have mine set up for example.

My fan is just laying on top of my tent with a short peice of ducting stuck through a top port and all other top ports are closed.

I keep my flaps open on the bottom.

Basically the same thing with my closet, fan out the top and it pulls fresh air from under the door and I cut a hole the same size as the exhaust fan :+1:

Once they start building giant colas that proper air circulation will be extremely important :ok_hand:
Clearly you have a good looking plant so it hasn’t seem to hurt anything this far.
But fresh air circulation is critical to prevent big thick buds from gathering moisture and molding

It seems to be the same process. What changed for you

Already ordered a fan. Thanks

I only have one vent open and it is at the top. I am physically challenged so couldn’t get the filter hung properly at the top so just reversed the air flow from top to bottom. This is also in a 9’ basement which is cool so thought it good to pull warmer air from the ceiling. Thanks for the advice will look for help moving things around. Will also look into a fan, when tent is closed and the power vent is running and the light fan going it looked like it was blowing around some but not a bunch.

The OP has a number instead of the picture so i assumed it didn’t upload
Nothing may have actually changed other then i touched the number this time and to my surprise a picture opened :upside_down_face:  :man_shrugging:

That’s a link to an amazon aws server, which is why it opened (redirected you), rather than an uploaded jpeg file.
I didn’t try clicking on it either until you said it opened, then I had to try it too!

Ok i see :+1:
I may have a solution that would correct it if you could put the fan outside the tent.
You would need to flip the fan around so it’s pulling air out the tent put useing the sane hole its in now just the fan and ducting would be outside the tent pulling air rather than pushing it.
And then close the top port with the flap open on bottom and that would be “in the bottom and out the top” :+1:

If this isn’t something you can do then it isn’t detrimental, as long as your temps and humidity doesn’t get to high and a little fan inside blowing a nice breeze around and you’ll be fine i believe :slightly_smiling_face:

I forgot to mention, the filters are only needed to mask smell, many of us don’t use them as smell doesn’t matter to us. Just thought I’d add that :+1:

Don’t feel bad I had to click it too!!! That’s what I love about this place I learned something new every time I get on here.

Come on, it can’t be that hard to imagine. They clip on the poles. Two up high around the light. Two just above the canopy.
