Day 21 flower defoliation

So im currently at day 19 of flower and im trying to gather as much info as I can about the defoliation i need to do in the next few days. This is gunna be a vital step for me due to some moisture issues im already starting to notice. I was hoping that some of yall may have some before and after defoliation pictures that might help me out about deciding what needs cut. @dbrn32 has talked me through the basics to get me started. Just curious what everyone has had success with. Thanks!!

Defoliate only as necessary to maintain good airflow within the plant’s canopy.

Definitely gunna have to go through and do some thinning. I see several wet spots between leaves when i run my hand across canopy.

I don’t see a fan blowing on top of the canopy? Do you have one?

Yes i have 3 total, 2 smaller ones on opposite sides on bottom blowing up, then one in the top above my light blowing down on canopy. I had to put it up there due to some height restrictions in my tent lol.

Thanks!

I’d start defoliating a lot of the larger fan leaves. Help open it up. Since scrogging usually is pretty densely packed it’s easy to get larf. Plus a LOT of moisture can get trapped in there.

I remove fans every time I visit the flowering area and do 2-3 big defoliations in flower sometimes more depending on how packed the scrog is…

Here’s a few stages

Awesome! Yeah just take your time cuz once it’s gone it’s gone. If it’s not shading any buds or cramped against other branches or leaves, let it go. It’s kind of a balancing act.
