New plant getting big

Hey guys when should I start to cut the big fan leaves off, it didn’t flower, but looks like it very soon, thanks for any advice

Only reason to defol is to increase airflow during flower. I dont defol until day 21 of flower. If your plant is too big, you can always top or lst and bend the top over.

Got a pic? I will defer to others cause I am not defoliating, but my gut says no flower no pruning. If you haven’t got bud it feels risky.

My fertilizer is worm castings powdered eggshell dust. I grew it in potting mix because that seems to drain better then potting soil, and I use this powdered fertilizer added to the water every 10 days, I have well water it’s a good well waters great
