Do you add perlite to the mix?
That is what I use in that kind of mix so it drains better dries out faster and supplies oxygen to the roots
I start off with low PH in that type of mix and it rises as it ages
What water source do you use and what are the PPM’s and PH of it to start with?
I’m not telling you what to do or how to do it just trying to understand what you are dealing with
Me too.
2022 my first grow with FFOF.
Week 5 PH crash and defective PH pen caused double trouble.
I do use some perlite or peat moss.
Warrior Seedling makes mostly lighter mix.
PRO-MIX HP utilized somewhere in grow, too.
My clones and re-vegers are doing well.
Just the Maui Wowie (which all got the same soil batch).
Was watering and feeding at 6.5/1000 +/-
Municipal water bubbled for a few days (PPM under 20, PH 7.5 or higher).
TSP, Bloom, or Cal-Mag (newest addition, now with leaf color issue) added.
PPM and PH goal 1000/6.5 adjusted.
Now flush or feeding 6.2/800-1400.
I know you don’t want to flush but that’s probably the fastest way to get her back on track IMO
I would flush at 6.2ph like you plan then feed around 800 after you get the numbers you want with the flush
Feed right away after the flush don’t wait for it to dry out so it has enough nutes to get back on track and see how they respond after a few days
I would also remove all the bad leaves so the plant doesn’t waste energy trying to keep them alive
You are early enough in flower it will make new leaves if it needs them almost seemingly overnight
This is my opinion not telling you what to do
Best of luck brother
Also don’t forget to add some microbes or something such as tps billions or recharge next feeding/watering and some sugars to feed them if they start looking better since most if not all will be flushed away
and others mixed in.
Yes, forum reading caused radicle shift in grow supplies and equipment.
Upgrading from useless or not needed to best known methods and equipent.
Grows getting better and life becomes more challenging.
Just keep reading journals it becomes as hard or easy as you want it.
You’ll get there just remember to have patience and don’t overreact or over correct ask questions and keep a positive attitude
I learned a ton from this forum I used to read 4 hours or more a day in the first 2 years of being here
Two AFG seedlings have broken soil and are now on floor in flower tent.
The others have not emerged from soil.
Grow room is at 60-65 degrees (garage unheated).
Seedlings and clones grow really slow.
Heat mat probably would help.
The MWs are surviving, in spite of me.
Fan leaves still falling/fallen.
Still building white flowers/buds.
PNW getting more rain today.
All MW has been banished to the outdoors.
Re-veging potential, if they learn to swim.
Tents need cleaning and shut down for summer.
I have one MauiWowie, from 11/1/23, re-veging nicely.
If she learns to hold her breath, or swim, I will be thrilled.
She has been outdoors in pure suck weather, April.
Life can only get better, for both of us.
PNW, May, can only get better than April.
I share that plan, too.
Tough to align growing and family calendars.
I just pulled another male.
Gave him a new home, outdoors.
PNW freezingly cold (for me and outdoor grow).
Busy daily working yard plants (bees?, more flowers (bee food), more bushes (less eyes) and adding productive soil (no more weed killer chemicals).
Trying to clone shrub from yard. (Good perennial grows great).
24 hours later, each was tail-less and placed in seedling solo cup.
Seedling Mini-van under plastic dome in Tent-2.
Sharing habit with attempted clones from front yard perennial shrub/bush.
Cold weather not helping seedlings or me.
Time to break out the seedling heating mat, maybe.
